About time to get this party started. Part 1 of my 3-part Welcome to Philly Transit Series goes live at 2:30 PM EST today!

Well, I finally have a video just about ready for you all, and it's the first of a three-part series I've worked on for quite a while. We'll be going over the public transit services of my native Philadelphia in this series, starting first with the Regional Rail network, followed in about two weeks or so by the Subway and Metro services, and after that by the busses and trolleys. Alongside that, I have some bigger projects in the works, and some great contacts that I have made in order to make them so, and I can't wait to get them rolling alongside this three parter!
The video will go live on Saturday at 2:30 PM EST!
Alongside that, I am starting a discord server for the channel where we can talk about things from general foamery to conducting research for the videos we'll talk about on the channel. Link will be down below, and I will have it placed in the channel and video descriptions soon.
Also, I'm going to be going to the Open House for the Cheltern Hills Model Railroad Club in Elkins Park, PA on either Saturday or Sunday (haven't completely decided which, since I have the whole weekend available). You might also get to meet Alan Fisher there too, so that'd be cool also.
Thank you all for your patience while I put this all together. Here's some pictures I've taken lately as an apology.

Not transit or train related, but genuinely awesome nonetheless. Glad I had my camera with me at the best possible time, because the Northern Lights appeared over Southeastern Pennsylvania and my hometown tonight. I legitimately didn't think it was for real, but it was. Didn't even have to go way up north to see an amazing piece of what nature is capable of.
Whilst I'm posting this, I may as well inform you that my next projects are still in the works, and focusing more on completing a long-term project I've had in the works and had to put one I had in mind on the side for the time being, largely for research purposes. I'm expecting the first part of my next project (yes, first part, there will be three videos involved in it) to be ready in about two weeks or so. In fact, I was on my way back from getting footage for said project when this lightshow appeared.
Thanks for bearing with me as I juggle the tangle of projects I'm working on, and hopefully you enjoy these pictures.

About a week after the fact, but here's some pictures from the fun time I had at New Jersey Transit's Meet Our Rail Fleet Past and Present event in Hoboken on the 15th. Overall it as a great time, and a great way to meet up with fellow foamers and take in some classic and modern equipment on NJT's system. Hoboken was also a really cool city to explore for a time, and I know there's a lot I didn't have time to see!
Also, got my next video firmly in the works, along with one that has been brought up due to recent developments within the national passenger rail network that highlights a key problem that Amtrak currently has that will be trickier to overcome than one may initially think...

Well, I finally got it. After a year, I've finally got an actual logo for the channel! No more default pink H thumbnail for me! Got to give a massive shoutout to my good friend PDXDarby for the design!
Also as a general update, I had a difficult time determining which of the many projects I have bits and pieces together to work on, since there is a TON of topics I want to cover, but I'm progressing on one now that is near and dear to my heart, all the while reworking my three-part series on Philadelphia area transit that I've been working on for a while. So, definitely keep an eye out for that in the coming month.
Alongside that, I'll be going to the New Jersey Transit Meet our Rail Fleet Past and Present Event at Hoboken Terminal on Sunday the 15th if anyone's in the area and wants to nerd out about trains a bit.
Also, thank you all so much for getting the channel to 3,000 subscribers. It's unreal really how it's been going, and I have something to help keep it going while also improving my research circles so that I can produce better quality content than I do now. I'll have more when it's ready, which it should be in the coming week, so if you want to help the cause along and maybe find ways to improve how we get around, both the channel and the real world concepts we cover, keep an eye out.
Again, thank you all.
Also, here's some nice pictures I got recently, including some related to the subject of my first ever video on this channel.

The new video is ready, and will go live at 2:30 PM EST today! It's the start of my ongoing video series about the Northeast Corridor, the problems that it faces, and the sky-high potential that it has! I got plenty more in the works, but considering the urgency and relevancy of the topic to passengers across the Northeast, this had to be discussed.
Plus, in the process I causally punch up at a much more well known Youtuber who go this topic wrong in their attempt to make the topic simple. Nothing against them, they just got it wrong.

Well, after trekking around from the Susquehanna River to North Jersey for footage, my next video will be ready for release on Sunday! Considering how important this topic truly is to the present and future of transit in the Northeastern US, It's one I'm very excited for. Tune in on Sunday at 2:30 PM!

Been going pretty far and wide for footage for my next video, but considering the importance of the subject matter to a whole region's transportation network, it's been worth it to me. Plus, it's been fun too. I'm expecting it to be ready within a week or two

It may be a couple days late, but it's been a year since I released my first video for this channel, my video on the West Chester Line and its crazy story. Safe to say I've been very happy with both it, and how the channel has gone so far, and I can't thank you all enough! Got a lot more stuff to talk about in the coming weeks and months, and a lot of people to talk to about the art and science of how we get around, and what that has every potential to be in the future.
Again, thank you all! Next video's in the works and should be ready to go in about two weeks or so!

A little kitty told me that this channel just hit 2,000 subscribers! Thank you all for watching, and hopefully I can keep the bunch of you entertained about trains, trolleys and other transportation stuff, and maybe we even learn a thing or two! (Cute cat picture at the end)

Hi, I'm Steve, just a guy from a suburb of Philadelphia who likes things that go, from trains to cars to ships to planes.
Here, we talk about transportation, both with a wide vision, but using my home region as a measure, showing us the past, present, and the hopeful future of a better means of getting to the places we want to go, and maybe discovering something new along the way.
