Also known as the Bogd Khan, he became the de facto leader of Outer Mongolia thus establishing the independent Bogd Khanate of Mongolia.
The 1911 National Revolution of Independence is a special page in the history of the Mongolian people.
Lasting for 8 years, it was then occupied by the Republic of China in 1919 but successfully regained its independence on 11 July 1921.
It was the beginning of the great revival to restore their independent state and the actual grounds and basis for the Mongolian Revolution of 1921.
