I’ve been playing this game since the day it released, it’s been my favorite game of all time basically since then, and I used to fantasize of the idea that I would one day achieve sub hour in this game.
Years and years of hard work, tons of passion and dedication, and I finally did it man.
SMO any% in under one hour.
I’m 87th in the world, and this marks the end of a long long journey.

Update: I know it prolly seems like I just dipped out of the sub hour grind, but I was really just trying to take it easy. Especially at such a busy time of year in real life.
Today is the first day of summer break for me, so now my mind is set out for sub hour. This is happening. I have a one week vacation starting next Monday so hopefully I can get back into the swing of things until then.

I’ve been thinking it over, and I’ve realized there is just no chance I can get sub hour this year. I’m just not good enough or consistent enough. I don’t think I’ll ever get it tbh unless something changes, I wanna get one more pb before I call it quits but oh well

I’ve made my decision.
I will keep doing SMO.
I need to learn new movement and some new Strats if I have any shot at sub hour, and god forbid I need better sand exits. I can’t guarantee sub hour this year, but I can guarantee I will try as hard as I can to get any closer.

My 8 year old controller is finally worn down and I can’t use it anymore.
I think this is the sign that I need to chill, I’m gonna stop grinding for a bit. It’s only like a week new controller will be here on the 14th but 1:00 will happen kinda soon just now I’m forced to take time off. Which is a good thing I need this

Hey guys, welcome to SMOgamer1100 season 16, as of April 29th 2025, this season I will be putting the finishing touches on Odyssey any% for probably the rest of my life by getting Sub Hour, then I will do some fun casual streams as well as possibly trying to get a 55 minute time in Super Mario 64 70 star, then when the switch 2 comes out, if the controls feel better, there is a slight chance I will try to pb in 16 star. I do want to return to Fortnite streams a bit as summer comes close so be on the look out for that
