I have been an avid collector of Seeburg 1000 9-inch-records for decades
and think it would be a shame not to share these treasures.
Important information about the music on this channel:
I don't use noise filters after digitizing the records.
The reason is not the additional effort,
rather it is the already poor audio quality that a 16 2/3 rpm record has,
which I don't want to limit even more by cut out frequencies
with noise and scratch filters.
I digitize the mono records (e.g. Seeburg 1000) with a mono cartridge
(Ortofon 2M Mono) on a Technics Sl-1210 M5G.
This gives me two identical mono tracks (not like with USB turntables with stereo cartridges).
Afterwards I shift the two mono tracks by 0.015 seconds to each other.
This gives me a nice stereo effect while keeping the original mono on both tracks (R & L).
Below is the link to the Seeburg 1000 database, which was created by
"The World Of Budget Vinyl Records"
and is constantly being expanded.
Thank you very much for this!
