Jacob is a 22-year-old artist based in Spokane. As a young child, he loved music, and now that he is older he has begun pursuing it more. He started by just creating beats and rhythms under the name JayVRaps on SoundCloud in 2015. After he had amassed a small following of loyal listeners, he shut down that account and disappeared from the scene for a while. In late 2018, he reappeared and began creating music again. This time creating music that he felt showed who he was as a person.
