😍I love when the daily Mass readings resonate deeply with me.

We are moving to Florida in a few weeks and I am trying hard not to feel overwhelmed. 🫣

I pray that the Lord will stay close to both my husband and me during this time of transition.

A time in our story that is full of 🥳excitement and
😵‍💫stress and ☺️joy and 🥴exhaustion and all the 😭feelings from leaving 3 of our 4 daughters behind.

Whatever is happening in your life…I encourage you to remain steadfast, to seek strength through the Holy Spirit, and to comprehend the immeasurable love of Christ for 🫵🏼

St. Augustine said: “God loves each of us as if there were only one of us.”

Knowing that He is 🥹 FOR me and He works ALL THINGS for good …I can rest in Him and remind myself that ✨NOTHING✨ happens to us without Him allowing it to happen.

Have a blessed Friday 🩵

“Wherefore I pray you not to faint at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

For this cause I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ

Of whom all paternity in heaven and earth is named:

That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened by His Spirit with might unto the inward man

That Christ may dwell by faith in your hearts:

that, being rooted and founded in charity,

You may be able to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth,

To know also the charity of Christ, which surpasseth all knowledge:

that you may be filled unto all the fullness of God.

Now to Him who is able to do all things more abundantly than we desire or understand, according to the power that worketh in us:

To Him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus, unto all generations, world without end. Amen”

9/11

🥹 We will NEVER forget that awful day or how life in America changed forever because of the pure evil that will always lurk about the world.

We will forever honor the brave souls that were lost from the NYPD, PAPD, & FDNY on 9/11/01. 💙💙❤

I thank God for the ones who still stand watch today ...who are ALWAYS at the ready & willing to give up all they have for us.

"Time is passing.

Yet, for the 🇺🇸United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th.

We will remember every rescuer who died in honor.

We will remember every family that lives in grief.

We will remember the fire and ash, the last phone calls, the funerals of the children."

~President George W. Bush. 😔💔

Most Americans will NEVER ever forget!

I will never forget.

“God knows me and calls me by my name.…
God has created me to do Him some definite service;
He has committed some work to me
which He has not committed to another.
I have my mission—I never may know it in this life,
but I shall be told it in the next.

Somehow I am necessary for His purposes…
I have a part in this great work;
I am a link in a chain, a bond of connection
between persons.
He has not created me for naught. I shall do good,
I shall do His work;
I shall be an angel of peace, a preacher of truth
in my own place, while not intending it,
if I do but keep His commandments
and serve Him in my calling.

Therefore I will trust Him.
Whatever, wherever I am,
I can never be thrown away.
If I am in sickness, my sickness may serve Him;
In perplexity, my perplexity may serve Him;
If I am in sorrow, my sorrow may serve Him.
My sickness, or perplexity, or sorrow may be
necessary causes of some great end,
which is quite beyond us.
He does nothing in vain; He may prolong my life,
He may shorten it;
He knows what He is about.
He may take away my friends,
He may throw me among strangers,
He may make me feel desolate,
make my spirits sink, hide the future from me—
still He knows what He is about.…
Let me be Thy blind instrument. I ask not to see—
I ask not to know—I ask simply to be used.”

St. John Henry Newman meditation (March 7, 1848)

🫵🏼 Understanding Catholic teachings on sin is crucial.

According to the Church, every person is born with original sin, which only Jesus Christ's sacrifice can reconcile.

Baptism gives us sanctifying grace, but 🥴committing mortal sins removes it.

Catholics are either in sanctifying grace or mortal sin, with no middle ground.

Mortal sins need to be confessed to restore grace.

🫣Most modern Catholics overlook several serious sins in confession.

This blog post by ‪@PadrePeregrino‬ lists 1️⃣5️⃣ commonly missed 🖤 mortal sins (link below)

🥹Remember, the grace of confession can cleanse even the gravest of sins.

👉🏼Do your soul a favor…read the full article for details and ensure your confessions are complete.

Thanks be to God for blessing us with holy priests like Fr. Nix 🙏🏽🩵

If you attend the TLM (Vetus Ordo), which of these options reflects the PRIMARY reason why 🫵🏼 attend the Latin Mass regularly?

If have a different reason, please share it with me in the comments below 👇🏽

” The Traditional Latin Mass is not just a style of liturgy but a profound experience of the transcendent, which deeply nourishes the soul."

In your opinion…

What would be the optimal option for the Church to address the very real liturgical differences between the Vetus Ordo (TLM) and the Novus Ordo Mass?

A) Maintain the status quo: Keep the Traditional Latin Mass and the Novus Ordo Mass as separate forms of worship without major changes.

B) Implement reforms in the TLM: Introduce some modernizations in the Traditional Latin Mass while preserving its core elements and leave Novus Ordo as-is.

C) Integrate elements from both: Create a hybrid liturgy that incorporates aspects of both the TLM and the Novus Ordo Mass.

D) implement Reforms in the Novus Ordo & Leave TLM as-is.

E) Something else (share in the comments below 👇🏽

🤓I am curious to hear your perspective on the question should we as Catholics make the sign of the Cross when we genuflect.

According to the General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM), gestures and postures during the liturgy should be performed in a manner that respects their individual meanings and avoids confusion.

The proper execution of each gesture helps maintain the clarity and solemnity of the liturgical actions.

✝️Sign of the Cross: This gesture is a profound symbol of the Catholic faith, often used to invoke the Holy Trinity. It is usually done at the beginning and end of prayers, during certain liturgical moments, and in blessing.

🧎‍♀️Genuflection: This act of bending one knee to the ground is a sign of reverence and adoration, typically directed towards the Blessed Sacrament in the tabernacle or the altar.

👀What is your view on making the sign of the cross while genuflecting during Catholic worship?

Options:

A) It is appropriate and meaningful to combine both gestures

B) It is better to perform each gesture separately to respect their individual meanings.

C) I am unsure or do not have a strong opinion on this matter

“Let us note here that nothing is more ungraceful and more useless that to make a sign of the cross while genuflecting. For each gesture has its own meaning, and should be done separately.” Fr. Michel Simoulin
