W E S T H E A R T
Being based in the Scottish Highlands, it’s not hard to find inspiration for composing ambient music.
Inspired by the landscape that surrounds his small studio,
W E S T H E A R T combines minimal piano with ambient textures and unintrusive beats that take the listener to a space where they will hopefully find calmness and tranquillity.
Influenced by The Blue Nile, Aphex Twin, Radiohead, Rival Consoles, and more recently Icelandic composer Ólafur Arnalds, W E S T H E A R T weaves his music on the edge of your attention - exploring a simplistic and uncomplex soundscape to help you find clarity and peacefulness in a world full of chaos.
