Ngl, I've been busy. Work, family, home improvements, medical mishaps.. Not to mention I went to make another commentary video a couple weeks ago explaining my take on MM and how it can be competitive and how they could have fixed the old flight model. Wrote a script. Recorded some stuff. Threw it all away and went back to the drawing board. Now I have hours of dogfighting footage, a more concise script, and absolutely no motivation to throw it all together. What would be the point? My opinion don't matter one bit. And neither does yours. If you're here it's probably for the Gameplay, Music, and Memes. Let me get back to my roots. I got time today! o7 and enjoy.

So, I know you guys aren't the most excited about my longer form content. And that's ok. I only want you here if you're enjoying the show. However, I don't plan on stopping anytime soon, with anything I do. I tried to spice this latest one up. I could have done more, I could have done less. Ultimately this is just fun and games for me. I'm no perfectionist. But I did put the most work into this one and I really hope a few of you enjoy it. Kind of on the longer side, and bit coarse at times but here ya go. A cautionary tale that should be heeded and is obviously missed on most. But in this world of delicate demeanors, I would like to warn you. Do not let either Wolf starve. You need both wolves. And they must know you as master. Or risk losing control. Embrace them. Feed them. Exercise them. Use Them.

It amazes me he still cares enough to make an entertaining, funny, and obviously true video about Star Citizen's development. Especially after the White Knights of CIG treated him so poorly. Ya'll should have heeded this guys warning. Instead of treating him like a pariah you should have realized he was the Canary. Instead of characterizing his criticisms as hate and dismissing them, you should have taken them for what they were worth. They were concerns.
Well it looks like no more concerns here. You can hear it in his voice. Grumpy has relinquished his %$#&'s and I am happy for him. Now instead of mocking him, you can realize the value that criticism can bring. It comes from Love. People only scrutinize something that stirs them inside. Now it seems Grumpy is now amused and rightfully so. I can only exist in SC because i watched his video before investing into the project, and therefore had full awareness what I was walking into.
Now I know a lot of you have your feels about SC whether they are really good or really bad, I want to remind you that this is all just a video game. It should not make you lose any sleep. The people who passionately build up and tear down this game are both highly emotionally invested in a virtual world. I'm not saying you should or shouldn't criticize, that's your decision to make. But what you should be doing is having some gd fun. Getting emotionally rattled by a video game or a video about a video game is fragile af. It's like being pist your Starbucks wasn't made right. It's a luxury. Or maybe its a kin to being angry at the wind? What is ok to be mad at is the lack of accountability. Being willing to point that out is the most caring thing you can possibly do. Like highlight its deficiencies. It will ultimately help the company. If you allow them to carry on without ever addressing the problem, you get.. Well, you get a 3.23.2 patch disguised as a 3.24 patch. or 3.18. or a 6 year road to pyro..
Again, happy to see Grumps make light of the ship show running a crowd funded Alpha in development that has accountability, development and absolutely Marketing problems. Hope you enjoy. o7

I didn't have much time to play this weekend. What time I did have I spent editing because 3.24 was such a blessing.

3.24 is LIVE. What are the chances we see a 3.25 patch before we see 4.0?
First dive was pretty rough. Loaded up yesterday after work and was immediately hit with stutters and probably 4fps. I pushed through and called up a C8R and an Ursa Medivac. Parked each of them in the corners of my hangar and logged off.
While I was logging off and closing the game there was an update patch ready for download. Right before bed I logged back on to see if there were any improvements. It was a much better experience then I had at first. I wouldn't say it was "great" but it was closer to the typical SC performance I have been conditioned to expect. Checked on the Hangar and both the C8R and Nursa were still parked in the Hangar. I then called up an A2 after discovering it in the ASOP terminal. Everything was working fine. Logged off went to bed.
Now this weekend is busy for me, so idk how much time I will have to play. Have to replace the supports on my porch, along with making to a jobsite and putting the last touches in so my boss can bill. My point is im glad it is a holiday weekend here in the US and I will find the time to play, idk about make videos though. We will see. But I am excited to see how things have changed in this extended patch cycle and what I like and dislike.
I can already tell you, I don't hate the hangars simply for the fact I can land/park small ships and vehicles off to the side, allowing multiple craft to exist and persist. Also happy that they combined the paperdoll inventory and the new limited access inventory. Now instead of being able to access your inventory from a magic hat anywhere in armistice, you are forced to interact with specific terminals. Accessing the terminals becomes a drag and drop experience. Look forward to playing a few missions and who knows maybe hunting a few bounties. o7 and hope your weekend is enjoyable.
