My 2nd album ever drops at midnight. “Growing Pains” is the first time I’ve put a conceptual body of work together so I’m nervous but mostly excited for you to have it. We’ve all been through the highs & lows of growing up & I wanted this project to give you something as a reminder that you’re not alone through the lows and that you shouldn’t feel bad to celebrate your highs.. The 2nd song off my EP, “Growing Pains,” drops tonight, and it’s called “Highs & Lows.” I wrote this song during a time when I felt heavy self-inflicted pressure and doubts as I’ve gotten older and seen my peers moving on with their lives with safe jobs and degrees with backup plans, while I continue chasing this dream, which has its uncertainties. But writing this song re-centered my focus and grounded my headspace. It made me realize how blessed I am and how much support and love I’m surrounded by from you guys and the people who are close to me. Everybody moves at their own pace. This life isn’t meant to be rushed through. The time it takes to reach your goals is not a punishment, it’s preparation. This song made me realize that, and my hope is that it does the same for you. Excited for this song to finally be yours. 🫶🏻
