For anyone new here who’s unaware, my ultimate goal in life is to become a filmmaker. However, lately I’ve felt like the film industry is lacking creativity and originality. Recently I’ve been diving into the world of Japanese animation, which led to my discovery of one of the greatest filmmakers the world has ever seen. I made a short video essay on my second channel for anyone feeling underwhelmed with the current status of animated films. I truly feel inspired to create again, and I owe that feeling to one man: Makato Shinkai.

Making a living off of YouTube would be a dream come true, but it’s not the reason I choose to press publish time and time again. I love creating, and there is no better feeling than someone messaging me or commenting on a video how much they resonate with what I’ve made. I’ll keep creating not because it’s the career I want, but because it’s the path I believe will bring the most positive change to the world.
