A shutter's click captures an image, a flicker of time and place. Crisp photojournalism is a kind of history. It tells us historical facts in sequence. But, my design is to have a deeper focus. Snapshots show; portraits portray. Grounded in reality, the portraits I craft seek to enchant the souls of men and women. It must be borne in mind that my design is not to photograph histories, but lives. My name is Armando, and I am a portrait and documentary photographer.
