Update from the Heart ā¤ļø
Hey, everyone! I wanted to take a moment to update you all on some things Iāve been reflecting on since my video about leaving my relationship. The truth is, my decision to walk away was deeply spiritual. It wasnāt just about the emotional, mental, and physical abuse I endured (which, trust me, no one deserves), but more about aligning myself with what God was calling me to do.
Iāve faced disrespect not only from my ex but also from people in her corner, despite everything I sacrificed and risked for that relationship. But through it all, Iāve learned so much. I now know my worth and how I deserve to be treated. This experience has taught me valuable lessons on how to move forward in future relationships, but more importantly, itās shown me that Iām on the right path.
I want to emphasize this: donāt ever stay in a relationship out of fear, or because youāre worried about what others might think. Thatās never the answer. My story goes deeper than what Iāve shared so far, and what Iāve opened up about is just a small piece of it.
But Iām excited for whatās to comeārelocating, getting my new apartment, shopping, spending time with friends and family, travelingā¦ and just living! Iāll be taking you all along for the ride, and I plan to be more consistent, fun, and transparent. I want you to truly get to know me, to learn from my experiences, and to grow alongside me.
Thatās why Iām sharing my storyānot for social media validation, but to connect with those who relate to me. If thatās you, welcome to the community. If not, thatās okay too. Weāre going to be a space of vulnerability, fun, and realness. Iāll share both the good and the bad, because life isnāt one-sided, and I want to reflect that truth.
