Final Destination: Bloodlines was awesome. Being codirected by the guy who did Leprechaun Origins, I thought it would be horrible, but they managed to make the equal best movie in the franchise! Admittedly it doesn’t alter the formula enough to feel fully fresh but following a family was a great idea. I actually cared for the characters, the gore was on point, and it was a sweet denouement to Tony Todd’s life. RIP
I’ve been so swamped in my personal life that I don’t think I’ll be able to get a review out, but on the day it officially releases, I might try do a ranking for this franchise! I’ve just rewatched them all so they’re fresh in my mind. Bloodlines will be near the top!

Unfortunately I’m gonna have to put my channel on the back burner for a little while. Life gets busy and I just don’t have the time to be uploading consistently. It’s not that I don’t love doing it, it’s just a matter of finding the time to do it. I’m not gone forever, but between work, uni, and other things, it’s getting pretty hard to write a review, record it, edit it, upload it, etc. I’ll still be active, and obviously still watching movies and shows, but if you don’t see me upload for a while, that’s where I’ll be.

Finally managed to get my video essay of Trap out. Unfortunately I had to use still images to avoid copyright problems but I’m still very happy with it. Please check it out!

Unfortunately it seems like my video essay on Trap is never going to see the light of day. I’ve disputed the copyright claims 3 times now, I’ve re-edited the video, and reuploaded it, but nothing is good enough apparently.
I wouldn’t care if it were demonetised, but the video is blocked worldwide. I like to be able to share my thoughts on film with the world, and discuss it with a wide variety of people, but unfortunately the copyright system won’t allow that. Even though I am 100% using the footage under fair use, I’m still not able to share my work with you all.
I spent hours upon hours on this video, so I guess I’ll just leave with this. 🖕you Warner Bros.

Unfortunately I’m having some copyright issues with my upcoming video essay. I’ll upload it as soon as I can but it’s currently blocked worldwide.
I’ll tell you right now though, it’s a 20 minute video essay on M Night Shyamalan’s ‘Trap’.
