In the Book of Genesis, Abraham had multiple children from different wives and concubines:
1. Ishmael – Son of Hagar, Sarah’s Egyptian servant (Genesis 16:15).
2. Isaac – Son of Sarah, Abraham’s wife, and the child of the covenant (Genesis 21:1-3).
3. Zimran – Son of Keturah, Abraham’s later wife/concubine (Genesis 25:1-2).
4. Jokshan – Son of Keturah (Genesis 25:2).
5. Medan – Son of Keturah (Genesis 25:2).
6. Midian – Son of Keturah, ancestor of the Midianites (Genesis 25:2).
7. Ishbak – Son of Keturah (Genesis 25:2).
8. Shuah – Son of Keturah (Genesis 25:2).
Thus, Abraham had a total of eight named sons in Genesis.
But before he had them he had Lot.
