Hey! Thanks for checking out my channel. I’m Dr. Ethan Melillo and I’m a residency trained pharmacist trying to use social media to explain exactly how medications work and to give you all an inside look into the world of pharmacy.
After talking to patients daily and seeing so many misdiagnoses as well as patients being on the wrong medication I think it's so important to understand how medications work because treatment options vary on a patient to patient case. For any diagnosis, there are a multitude of treatment options available and I want you to feel comfortable communicating how a medication is working with your doctor in order to find the best treatment.
(And from time to time I’ll be sharing glimpses into my life because even though I love everything about pharmacy and medications I want to show that pharmacists have lives outside of work 😊)
