Neighbours below me in my apt weren't happy at my "noise" while I was editing today LOL
someone pounded their fist on the ceiling. God forbid I spend a couple hours with my speaker on low in the afternoon.

I'm torn on the slow death of physical media, aka DVDs. In one sense, it was the first time consumers actually had the upper hand. Back in the day, you would go out and gamble on a good movie, spend $20 on a DVD or see a movie in theaters. If it sucked, then hey, you snooze you lose, they had your money. Of course there was also movie rentals but that also added up.

Once piracy came about, people became more selective with what they wanted to spend their money on. Companies now had to compete for our attention and likely lost out on physical sales. Then streaming became the inevitable option to keep viewers happy, giving them more selection for their buck. All these companies competing for our attention.

But then we have to wonder: Did a film succeed just because a couple million Joe Shmoe's had a Netflix account and thought, "Might as well watch this tonight"? Have we created a system where the film industry simply pumps out content that's just watchable enough? Did the pre-streaming theater + DVD model allow for higher budgets and, ultimately, better movies? also I'm not referring to the big block buster movies haha

sucks but unfortunately it's been really hard making videos lately with my schedule. I'm going to try to release them when I can. I've been having health related issues too which has been making everything hard in my day to day. Sorry :(

bought a new CPU and upgraded my RAM and my god. I can't even finish the thumbnail before it's rendered and uploaded. What is this black magic. 😂
