πŸ‘‰ Ditch the electronics 1-hour before your normal bed time
πŸ‘‰ This includes phones, laptops, tablets, etc....
πŸ‘‰ Swap out that time with a de-stressing activity such as reading, writing/journaling, stretching, family time, anything that is NOT stimulated scrolling.

Now, How exactly does this Help with Metabolic Health?

With the constant observation that chronically insufficient sleep is a causal factor in impairing blood glucose equilibrium. A factor if not resolved, often leads one down the path of metabolic disease and dysfunction.

Making Chronically Poor Sleep is a Straight-Up Longevity Nightmare...

So we're gonna treat metabolic health and efficiency by improving our Sleep Hygiene, specifically focusing on one of the most important times of the day, that hour before bed.

Because what you do here can make the difference between dozing off into dreamland within minutes or staying up for hours contemplating the difference between a rabbit and rat hole.

Moral of the story is... Detaching the last hour before bed can GO a LONG way in helping that ideal scenario play out. So give it a go! And let me know what calming activity you replace the mindless scrolling with!

P.S Years ago I started putting my phone on airplane mode T-1hour before bed and it's been one of the most impactful hacks for my sleep (and thus health) I've ever deployed. Just Sayin' πŸ˜ŽπŸ€™
