Genuinely. Why didn't he simply go the route of, "Hey can you please take this video down or I'll have to strike it". Nope, just straight away without warning. Seriously, that would've resolved things in a way for both sides to be happy. The videos get taken down, Norse might lose a huge video but still ends up with his channel and content. I genuinely can't understand the logic behind that. Yes the amount that was used is significant, but in no way Norse meant to disrespect the plane spotters by using it. Even simply asking Norse a simple "Hey can you please credit me in the description for the plane spotting clip?" would do wonders for both sides. Seriously, can't believe entitled people have to get so greedy with their work like this.
Most if not all aviation creators/editors on here tend to use random plane spotting clips, Billy, Japong, KingLeo, Sf_jetz, Jetwings, literally 99% of us do. If you want to strike one of the largest creators just for using 2-3 seconds of your clip then go ahead, might as well do the entire set of aviation editors out there.
That's about it for my rant. Let this be a PSA for future videos. I tend to only use old plane spotting videos or check if the plane spotter allows for free use of their videos. Situations like these are really avoidable and people like this "John" guy could've handled things in a more peaceful way. So sorry this happened Norse.
