Yo everyone itâs The WolfKing here I just want to show yaâll me sketch, after watching Wild Robot, I was totally hooked. It had me laughing, crying, and everything in between. And since the new Lion King movie is coming out soon, I decided to draw this. Time to tell you the story of how Roz raised the king of beasts.
The Wild Robot: What If?
So in this universe, Roz somehow gets shipped off to a different place. Not a forest, but something else... the land was vast and hardly any trees. Roz walked through the grasslands hoping someone would give her a task. All of the animals see her and were scared and ran from her. She sees a hippo in the water thinking she could help it but the opposite happened. The hippo charged at her and Roz backed away from the hippo. Roz tried interacting with a herd of zebra, but they ran away from. Every animal hid from her due to her scary appearance. She continues on her search to acquire a task. She couldnât understand the animals so she decides to translate all the animals.
When she was done with her translation programming she tried to assist a few a clan of hyenas, but she got some of her parts taken by the hyena clan. Roz managed to get her parts, when she was chasing them until they were in a large lake. The hyenas ran away not from Roz but something else. Something in the water snatched her leg. The creature that got her leg was a large Nile crocodile. The crocodile thought he would subdue her but Roz managed to get out of the lake without losing any of her parts. After the crocodile attack the Sun began to fall and she sat down to reboot her system.
Roz was wandering the savanna during the dry season when she stumbled upon a troubling sight: a lone lion cub, no older than a few weeks, mewling weakly near the remains of a dried-out watering hole. There were no signs of a pride nearby, and Rozâs sensors detected no other lions in the area. The cubâs ribs showed faintly beneath its golden fur, and its small body trembled with hunger and fear.
Roz approached cautiously, lowering herself to the cubâs level. The tiny creature flinched at first, letting out a pitiful growl, but it was too weak to run or resist. Roz extended a gentle, metallic hand. âHello, little one,â she said softly. âYou are alone, arenât you?â
The cub blinked up at her, its amber eyes filled with confusion. Roz scanned the surrounding area, ensuring the cubâs mother wasnât nearby. When she confirmed it was truly abandoned, she made a decision. âI will care for you,â she said firmly. âYou are not safe on your own.â
The cub, whom Roz later named Kito (meaning âpreciousâ in Swahili), became her constant companion. At first, Roz struggled to understand how to meet Kitoâs needs. She used her knowledge of animal behavior to find small prey or scavenge meat for the cub, bringing food to him as a lioness would. When other predators approached, Roz stood protectively over Kito, her metallic body an impenetrable shield.
Kito quickly bonded with Roz, following her everywhere and mimicking her movements. Roz taught the cub what she could: how to recognize danger, where to find water, and even how to climb small rocky outcrops to escape threats. Despite her lack of natural instincts, Rozâs careful observation of the savannaâs lions allowed her to teach Kito basic hunting techniques, like stalking and pouncing, which he eagerly practiced on unsuspecting insects and small birds.
But as Kito grew, so did the challenges. By the time he reached adolescence, his instincts as a predator began to emerge. One day, after Roz had scavenged a meal for him, Kito hesitated. âWhy do you bring me food?â he asked, his voice deepening with age. âI am a lion. Shouldnât I hunt for myself?â
Roz knelt beside him, her glowing eyes meeting his. âYou will hunt when you are ready,â she said. âBut until then, I will ensure you are strong enough to survive.â
Kito tilted his head. âYou are not like me. Why do you care for me at all?â
Roz paused, processing the question. âBecause you needed me. And I needed you, too.â She placed a hand on his head, her metallic touch surprisingly tender. âWe may not look the same, but we are family.â
As Kito matured, Roz began encouraging him to interact with other lions. One day, while traveling through a valley, they encountered a pride lounging in the shade. Roz stayed at a distance as Kito approached cautiously, his tail low. The prideâs leader, a massive male, watched Kito curiously, and after tense moments of sniffing and posturing, Kito was accepted into the group.
Roz watched from afar, her chest tightening with a mix of pride and sorrow. She knew Kito was where he belonged, with his own kind. Yet, when he turned back to look at her, his eyes seemed to ask if she would leave him.
That night, Kito returned to Rozâs side, curling up next to her under the stars. âI like them,â he said softly. âBut they are not you.â
Rozâs hand rested on his mane. âYou are growing into a strong lion, Kito. One day, you will lead your own pride. When that day comes, I will always be nearby, watching over you.â
Their bond remained unshakable, even as Kito became a full-grown lion. Roz continued to guide him from the edges of the savanna, ensuring he thrived in the wild. Though he grew strong and independent, Kito never forgot the strange, kind robot who had raised him, the only mother he had ever known.
And Roz, in turn, carried the memory of her cub with her always, a reminder of the love and connection that could flourish even between the most unlikely of beings.

I just want to say thank you Dana Terrace. For everything. Watching the show was the best thing that ever happened for me. It sparked my inspiration and now Iâve made stuff that weâre brand new, out of the box, off the chain. Youâve inspired all my work and one day Iâll might become the next Stephen king and Stan Lee. You and your crew made something that changed my life for the better. If it wasnât for this show none of it wouldâve happened. Thank you for everything, I owe you my life.
