One Strategy. Execute It. Scale It.

New founders, hereā€™s a truth that might sting: Most growth strategies donā€™t fail because theyā€™re bad. They fail because you donā€™t give them enough time to work.

Hereā€™s the secret: The most successful companies didnā€™t win by juggling every tactic under the sun. They picked ONE strategy, focused relentlessly, and scaled it.

Look at these early moves from some of todayā€™s icons:

Netflix: They started by mailing DVDs. No big streaming plans, no global content budgets. Just a relentless focus on solving one simple problem: convenience for DVD rentals.

Dropbox: Grew almost entirely through their referral program. No fancy ad campaigns or influencer partnershipsā€”just a ā€œget more space, refer a friendā€ model that scaled exponentially.

Slack: Focused on small teams within companies. No broad enterprise sales strategy. They got teams addicted, and those teams pulled Slack into their organizations.

Before $1M ARR, simplicity is your superpower.

Chasing every shiny tactic only leads to scattered efforts and weak results.

One strategy = Potential for depth
Too many strategies = Mediocrity across the board

Remember:

Instagramā€™s growth started with obsessing over photographers and their love of filters.

Robinhood grew by nailing their waitlist strategy and building hype.
Tesla focused on selling Roadsters to enthusiasts, not mass markets, at first.
Master the basics before you try to do it all.

šŸ“Œ Lesson: You donā€™t need to reinvent the wheel. You just need to pick one that works, and keep turning it.

Whatā€™s your one focus right now? Letā€™s hear it. šŸ‘‡

One month into 2025!!
2024 was a wild ride! Learned a lot, leveled up, and connected with some amazing people along the way.

KPH shone a light on Keralaā€™s amazing talents.

Big strides happened when I worked with like-minded people and teams.

Every KPH conversation reminds me that there is always more to learn.

Always Grateful for everyone whoā€™s been part of this journey.

2025, letā€™s take it up a notch and make it count! šŸ„‚

KPH is my IKIGAI.

For us, lifeā€™s most fulfilling moments happen when our passion and purpose meet. Nah?

And for me, thatā€™s exactly what Kerala Product Hunt (KPH) is.
Itā€™s something that fuels me every day.

When I started KPH, it was just a small WhatsApp community of four members.

But each of those members was deeply committed to the vision.
Slowly, it started growing.

Today, KPH has evolved into a thriving community of over 1,000 members, with many still waiting to join.

We began with a simple goal. To shine a spotlight on Keralaā€™s makers and innovators.

Now, KPH is much more than that. Itā€™s a space where ideas meet opportunities, and dreams take flight.

For me, KPH isnā€™t ā€œwork.ā€ Itā€™s a purpose-driven calling.

You know what makes KPH special to me? Itā€™s the people.

Every product launch, every conversation, and every shared milestone is a reminder of whatā€™s possible when we create a space for ideas to grow.

At KPH, Iā€™ve learned that the best innovations donā€™t just come from big cities or famous labs.

They come from passionate people in unexpected places, like right here in Kerala. And for those who ask me why Iā€™m so deeply invested in this?

KPH fuels me every day because itā€™s more than just a platform, itā€™s a purpose.

Itā€™s my IKIGAI

Your turn now! Whatā€™s your Ikigai?

The Machine Gun Strategy!

Iā€™ve heard this first from Ranveer Allahbadiaā€™s podcast with Think School Ā®.

KPH has been doing 30+ episodes and none of the episodes havenā€™t exploded like Nikhil Kamath or Ankur Warikoo style. I mean itā€™s not on everyoneā€™s feed on a given timeframe yet.

We wanted to try it out and see how it goes!

Guess what, we got the perfect opportunity while we did XYLEM LEARNING founder Dr.Ananthu! We released all the shorts all at once and itā€™s flooded on YouTube Shorts Algorithm.

Watch Shorts -> Watch Full Episode

Oh boy, we did hit that 11k mark within 9 days. Which otherwise took months to get there! See screenshot for reference.

Next up is to release all at once on Instagram and see what happens this week! Would you like to hear the updates?

KPH's Exceptional MASTERCLASS Recap!!

an incredible day at our KPH masterclass!

We brought together a group of passionate entrepreneurs ready to dive deep into the real work of scaling a business the scrappy way. We didnā€™t just talk theory, we got our hands dirty, discussing the wins, the mistakes, and the actionable strategies that can truly move the needle.

A huge thank you to Aswin Shibu, Co-founder of MixRank (YC S11), for sharing his journey and the valuable insights he's learned while scaling a YC-backed company. His experience really resonated with everyone and will surely inspire the next generation of startup founders!

And of course, we all enjoyed an amazing buffet lunch at the Four Points by Sheraton, Kochi, great food, even better conversations! šŸ“

Special thanks to all the participants for their engagement, questions, and real-world stories. It was amazing to connect, learn, and collaborate with such a dedicated group of entrepreneurs. Your passion and drive truly made this event special.

Stay tuned for more events and masterclasses, this is just the beginning!

It was an absolute privilege to host Neil Goldberg all the way from LA, on his first-ever visit to Kerala!

We had deep conversations about life journeys, career milestones, and his fascinating work experiences, it reminds me of the power of genuine connections and meaningful discussions.

I was absolutely thrilled to hear someone like him express excitement about KPH podcast and the incredible work happening here in Kerala, people solving global problems from Godā€™s Own Country!

A big shoutout to Navaneeth Padanna Kalathil for the introduction, it truly made this experience possible.

Grateful for this opportunity and excited for many more inspiring exchanges to come.

Kerala (KPH) is ready to welcome more global changemakers.
