Ferrari owners are g!mps

Oftentimes as a beginner, you tend to look at the finish line as a certain vision.

"When I make $100K a year I will do ___"

"When I get a 6 pack this will happen"

"When I go travelling I will meet this type of person"

These are the thoughts you have in your head every day, the things you visualise happening.

But if you've ever achieved a long term goal, the vision you had doesn't always come true.

I remember when I started making money online I had this vision that I would some day move to Dubai and drive a

Ferrari at 100mph with the song "Paradise" by Jason Derulo playing.

It would be a perfect moment and life would be perfect from that moment on.

Then I moved to Dubai.

And that did not happen.

By the time I'd made enough money to move to Dubai, my personality had changed.

In short, I didn't give a f-ck about driving a Ferrari.

In the time it took me to move to Dubai, about 3 years since I first began making money online.

I'd learned a lot about myself.

I learned that I don't really care about Ferraris.

I learned that driving 100mph would probably get me a large speeding fine in Dubai.

I learned that the momentary enjoyment of listening to a song in a fast car is not fulfilling.

But I've had 10 million other little random wins in the time it took me to get in this position.

Setting a vision like this can be a good little motivator to keep you going when times are tough.

But don't be surprised if your life looks completely different from how you imagined it would, when you reached your goal.

Focus on the habits and systems you need to follow to get there.

Find a way to make those enjoyable so that, instead of having one momentary win in 2 years time, you have 2 or 3 wins every day for those 2 years.

Fall in love with systems

The best thing about getting rich when you weren’t rich before…

Is that you can do wayyy more shit with your money than people who grew up with money

The rich people I’ve met who went to private schools and had mum n dad pay for things…

They have a certain level of expectation when they do anything

I’ve seen this shit with my own eyes

They won’t travel somewhere unless they can do it business class or in a luxury car

I’m happy to get a bus, sleep in a relatively cheap hotel

As long as the basics are there and it’s not a shithole, I’m happy

Not having this level of expectation allows you to be truly free

If you make $100K in a year

You can live off that shit for a few years and travel the world

$100K is only the start of what you can make with an online copywriting business

And the good thing is you can work from anywhere because all you need is a laptop and WiFi

If you want the full blueprint + coaching to help you get there

Most young guys in their teens / 20s don't understand the power of controlling their own attention.

Easy example:

I used to drink every weekend, go out and have fun and meet people.

Now it's pretty obvious that getting drunk will lead to hangovers, which destroy your ability to work on anything meaningful.

It'll also cost you money, money which could have been spent on levelling yourself up in fitness or business.

But most people literally aren't even taking into account the other costs associated with going out at the weekend.

The most important of which being your attention.

The reality of bootstrapping a business with $0 and 0 experience is that it will take a lot of time and focus.

If you're focused on which girl you're gonna speak to at the weekend, or what that guy said to you in the bathroom that made you want to fight him, your focus is directed n stupid short term shit.

This goes for most things, sports, politics, pop culture.

Most people just go with the wind when they wake up.

They want other people to decide what they're going to do each day because it means they don't have to spend their energy thinking about it.

If you want to drive forward to a goal, you need to focus on that goal intensely and cut out all the noise.

Most people won't sacrifice their social life at the weekend for a few months to build their first business because they want to have 'work life balance'

Then complain that they're in the same position two years later.

Your focus, your attention must be guarded as though it's worth a million bucks.

Otherwise you'll drift in and out of things you want to do.

Make your choice:

Do you want to focus on stupid day to day shit?

Or do you want to make something of your life?

Just wrote this community post for my $2,000 coaching clients - you can have it for free today

------

this is one of the single most useful thinking patterns i've employed

any time i face a problem i look at it kinda like a flow chart

the flow chart is attached below.

it's talored for beginner copywriters, but you can literally apply it to anything in life: relationships, health choices, family matters

Trust me, i literally have to remind myself of this shit all the time, problems in business always come with personal consequence

maybe i wont make xyz money

maybe this will cause me to have to work more on stuff i dont think im good at

maybe this will cause me stress going forward

Those consequences will rear their head in the form of pain

You will feel weak and that you can't achieve whatever it is you need to do

but this is what will make or break you

you either attack these things or they beat you down

remember, you only have one life, which option will you choose?

Flexing is easily the saddest thing you can do

I have no idea whose car this is.

I didn’t rent it, I just got my friend to take a pic of me so I could write this post lol

Because

I see people on YouTube and instagram flexing Ferraris and stuff

Then selling you on their programs

And last year I thought that if I teach people how to build businesses that I’ve found success with…

That I would have to ‘flex’ aswell

I bought a fancy watch and some cool clothes

It literally did nothing for me, it’s a piece of metal on my arm

Who gives a shit

I suppose the reason I’m writing this post is because this channel for me is a way to provide some value to the world

I enjoy making videos for you and seeing how you react

I have an amazing team that i get to create cool stuff with

And amazing coaching clients who I get to see grow

I watch people join our coaching program..

And go from living with their parents or struggling to make ends meet

To building great copywriting businesses and getting some freedom for themselves

A little bit you should know about me

I’ve had some difficult times in the last couple of years

Painful experiences in my personal life which I do not care to post here

But I can tell you now…

I am in a very zen state of being where I am right now

I love seeing my family (like my little nephew on pic 3)

I love training in the gym and running with people

I love helping people start and grow businesses online

I am a simple man

I have ups and downs just like you

So if you ever see me posting lambos or any of that shit

I’ll be purely transparent

It’s because it grabs people’s attention

I have no problem drawing attention in this way

As long as I deliver value and pay off the time you’re spending watching my stuff

If you’ve read this far, this is a prime example that posting a pic of a Lamborghini gets attention

But I hope you got to know a little more about me

I hope you become a coaching client of mine some day

But if not, enjoy the free content here on YouTube

Ok I’m gonna post this now I have to go train legs
