Hey all. Happy new year! I just wanted to let y'all know that I am going to be trying something new with the uploads this year - specifically the thumbnails. You may have noticed that each thumbnail has a color that indicates what genre it is. As more and more music drops, it is getting increasingly harder to classify what track is what genre (this particularly applies to the more "poppy" tracks). In a few days, the thumbnails will switch to using three main colors:
- Green for the more chill and mellow tracks (e.g. chill trap, chill, chill pop, melodic dubstep, etc.)
- Red for the more poppy and upbeat tracks (e.g. progressive house and future bass)
- Blue for the heavy and hard as a BAMF tracks (e.g. big room, hardstyle, bounce, trap, dubstep, etc.)
My hope with this is that it will encourage more music discovery as well as streamline my content creation process. If you like listening to the uploads via our curated playlists, don't worry. Those aren't going anywhere and will still be updated (to the best of my ability). Only the thumbnails will change. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this once it takes into effect.
