As you guys know by now, through Instagram and YouTube - Josh & I got married in Vegas this weekend!
We made a little statement post tonight on our socials to help people understand more of why we did it this was! I am also vlogging tomorrow and we will also cover extras as well :)

A couple months ago, just a few weeks into wedding planning, Josh and I quickly realized and felt that a big cheesy wedding just wasn’t for us. So instead, one night in like a 20 minute conversation, we talked about getting our immediate family members and closest friends together for a fun disco themed wedding in Vegas. We both loved the idea and sent everyone a massive text and started planning for Vegas! All of our friends and family came together, booked flights, bought cheesy disco outfits, and helped us with so much more than we could have ever asked for. Our amazing brother in law @tylerzabor even dressed up as Elvis to officiate us. It was honestly a dream come true and I’m so so grateful we were able to create the wedding we wanted surrounded by the ones we love.
So, cheers to our amazing friends & family for helping us make this happen and being by our sides during the happiest day of our lives together & a massive cheers to my husband, who I am so beyond happy to spend the rest of my life with ♥️

Hi!! I get a lot of questions on our favorite Nespresso pods, so I thought I would share this here since they aren’t the easiest names for me to remember!
Our absolute faves are the purple, blue, and gold ones. But we’ve recently enjoyed the decaf ones too when we want coffee late in the day! Also, for the hazelnut I hateeee it with almond or other nut based creamers but it taste good with other creamers/milks like oat milk or real milk!!

Hi everyone! 2020 was a huge step for BLM, not just in America but around the world. I recently had to read something that frustrated me and truly opened my eyes when it comes to the career I have chosen. My class was assigned this article for a discussion post, and at first I cannot lie, I could not wrap my head around medical personal treating their patients differently and respecting them poorly based off the color of their skin. Boy, did this article slap me in the face with some perspective. I wanted to share because I know a lot of you follow me and aspire to be nurses or some type of medical professional and that means we need to hold these horrible providers and nurses accountable for their treatment of black men and woman. They deserve equal concern, care, love, and treatment. WE will be the ones to give them that, be their voices when they need it, and their ADVOCATES when we see anyone in our field treating them with any type of indecency. I truly urge everyone to read this article and remember it for when you do enter the medical field. To the black woman and men who follow me, I will, as a nurse, listen to you, believe you, and fight for you. Your life is so f**king important to me.
