You may have noticed that I haven't been posting as consistently lately. I wanted to let you all know that I will be taking a short hiatus from creating content on YouTube. I think I need this break to reflect on how to provide better videos for you all.
I LOVE creating videos. It's become an obsession of mine, especially when I realize how the world becomes smaller with each video I put out. Meeting all of you (in-person and virtually) and receiving your heartfelt messages is what keeps me motivated and inspired to continuously improve and be better.
Deep down, I've always wanted to improve my videos, focusing on storytelling while keeping them informative and inspiring. While I've been pushing myself to stay consistent, I've realized that creating better content, even if it means posting less frequently, is more important. Quality over quantity is something I firmly believe in, and I aim to come back stronger than ever.
In the meantime, you can still catch me on my @canxvisa IG account. There, I plan to pump out more immigration news, international student tips sand guidance...So feel free to follow me there. Also, I want to reassure you all that my partner, Tien, and I are diligently working behind the scenes to assist aspiring students with their study goals in Canada. WE GOTCHUUUUU.

I used YT to cope with my immigration frustrations and in the process, I found YOU 😭🙏

OMG GUYS, WE’VE REACHED A MILESTONE! 🥳😭
This time last year, I was in a totally different headspace. I was on visitor status residing in Canada hoping and waiting for an invitation to apply for PR. I felt trapped and detached with feeling neither here nor there.
To cope, I revived my YouTube channel sometime in Feb 2020 starting with 176 subscribers (and I valued each and every one of them as much as I do now)
Fast forward to 2021 — we are now at 30,000 subscribers 😭💕 With that, I want to say THANK YOU 🙏

I think IRCC is making it very clear who they are targeting. They want people with Canadian experience, primarily students that work a skilled job after graduation.
To the students that applied 2-3 years ago and didn’t know what it would amount to, well now you know 😜❤️🥰
There’s no competition for CEC people. They can simply breathe at this point and still get invited 😂😂 But everyone else may need to try a bit harder.

I was looking at my channel and the thumbnails were ALL OVER THE PLACE. My OCD kicked in and wanted to fix that. With that, I think I had a little too much fun recreating all my video thumbnails and reorganizing my Immigration Playlists last night. 😜❤️ I wanted to create a BETTER SYSTEM for my viewers to access my videos and to get information in a categorical manner. 🥰
I find that arranging my channel this way can help you understand the different aspects of Canadian Immigration in a logical and chronological manner. 😋 So I color-coded all my thumbnails according to a topic which I've summarized in the photo below. 🌈
