Expedition Trip to Amir Temur's Cave in the Kashkadarya Area

This is my hobby and form of relaxation: visiting and filming new places in Uzbekistan and then making a film out of it for our YouTube channel, DOCA TOURS.

🔔 Subscribe to our YouTube channel, friends, if you haven't already. It will always be interesting: youtube.com/docatours

This time, our expedition was extreme.

🌅Early in the morning, we set off with our team: Anvar, Asqar, Vishnu, and I. We ate delicious samsa on the way.

🚕We drove about 100 km. Our destination was Amir Temur's cave in the village of Taragay, where Amir Temur often spent his childhood.

The locals from the village of Taragay told us that we would reach the top of the mountain in half an hour and that it is easy.

🧗We walked up and down for about 6.5 hours.
The target height is 1700 meters. The average degree of inclination is approximately 40° - 42°, with quite steep and dangerous paths.

I also have acrophobia (fear of heights). I stopped at a very steep, narrow, and sandy point near the top. Suddenly, I couldn't move anymore.

It's about 1.5 km from where I stood to the bottom. I can't explain this terrible feeling. It was awful.

On the way, I injured myself a bit because I slipped at a point where it was sandy and narrow.

But thanks to my team, I managed to make it to the finish.

It wasn't easy, and there was too much adrenaline. However, it did distract me from my regularly recurring autumn depression for a day. 😁

I really enjoyed that. However, I will never repeat such an expedition again. 😁

The next expedition trips will take place without such adventures. I promised myself that.

Today is the third day, and my whole body still hurts, especially my legs. 😁

We will soon publish the full documentary on our YouTube channel.

UZBEKISTAN TOOK THE FIRST PLACE IN THE RANKING OF THE SAFEST COUNTRIES

Uzbekistan took 1st place in the ranking of the safest countries in the world “Safety Perception Index 2023”, which includes 121 countries.

According to the rating, the level of danger to the life and movement of citizens in Uzbekistan is minimal.

The five safest countries also included the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Norway and Estonia.

Of the Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan took 14th place, Tajikistan - 17th, Kyrgyzstan - 26th.

Guinea, Sierra Leone and Mali took the lowest place in the rating.

The "Safety Perception Index" focuses on five factors: food and water, violent crime, adverse weather conditions, mental health and safety in work settings. These factors serve as an important basis for the formation of an image that will become the basis for the security rating of countries.

The fact that Uzbekistan is in first place in this ranking creates the basis for the unhindered arrival and departure of foreign tourists to our country.

Today, a meeting was held with the Chairman of the Tourism Committee, U.R. Shadiyev, and representatives of the industry at the Great Silk Road University, where proposals and opinions were exchanged about the development of tourism in the Samarkand region and problems in the field.

At the meeting, a group of entrepreneurs and representatives of higher education who have been working in the field of tourism in the Samarkand region for many years were awarded the "Tourism Devotee" badge.

I express my gratitude to the Tourism Committee and all the colleagues working in this place for considering our humble services.

Travel is an adventure and an experience that can change a person's life. They can be beach holidays, ski holidays, cultural travel, ecotourism, cruises, trekking, and adventure.
Even if it's a business trip, you experience a lot of things.
This time, I am traveling with my two brothers. This is the first trip far away for the two boys.

Our goal is to promote tourism for Central Asia, including Uzbekistan.

We visit many cities of Europe, and I will write about our experiences here on social media every day.
Thank you very much for following me.

Global travel authority Lonely Planet has revealed its annual list of popular destinations for next year. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Best in Travel 2024 has expanded from its traditional list of the top 10 cities, countries and regions by adding two new categories for Best Value and Best Sustainable Destinations.

And Uzbekistan entered the top ten best countries in the world to visit. He was accompanied by Mongolia, India, Morocco, Chile, Benin, Mexico, Pakistan, Croatia and Saint Lucia.

Here is what they write about Uzbekistan as the winner in this nomination:

“From oasis to oasis across Uzbekistan, travelers continue to follow centuries-old trade routes. High-speed trains and a convenient network of domestic flights have replaced the camel caravans that once connected thriving fortified cities, but the ancient cultural centers of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva still recall the days of the Silk Road. In the Nuratau Mountains, an agricultural tourism initiative allows visitors to experience life in pastoral communities.”

On the Lonely Planet website you can also find various information that will be useful to all those who want to visit Uzbekistan. For example, the best time to visit the country, must-see attractions, visa procedures and much more.

It is Samarkand City Day on October 18.
FAQ
What is samarkand city day it's all about?
Samarkand became a prominent regional economic, political, and cultural powerhouse under the authority of Amir Temur.
Numerous madrasahs, mosques, gardens, castles, and structures for trade and crafts can be found throughout the city. Today, several of these memorials are still in place.
On October 18, 1996, President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov proposed recognizing Samarkand City Day in commemoration of Amir Temur's birth. This city is recognized as a center of science, trade, and crafts and has a roughly three thousand year history.
On that day, the city was granted the Order of Amir Temur, which is now widely commemorated annually.
Since 1997,
The Sharq Taronalari international music festival has taken place in Samarkand. This musical forum, which is organized at the president of state's initiative and held every two years, encourages the study and development of national musical traditions from across the world.

"Hello, our dear followers, my name is Oybek Ostanov, and I hope you're doing well. Today is a special day for us because we've reached 15000 subscribers on our YouTube channel."

Although I already had a YouTube channel named "DOCA TOUR" at the time, I didn't spend a lot of time making videos since I was so busy with tourism. Exactly five years ago, I was a regular YouTube user.

Due to the epidemic and crisis in the tourism industry, I started to consider doing some labor to avoid wasting my time. I got the idea to make videos about Uzbekistan and Central Asia while browsing YouTube. I discussed my proposal with my team, and they provided their entire support and assistance.

We have produced 131 videos since the "DOCA TOURS" YouTube channel launched on February 16, 2017.

We only had 2,000 subscribers and 30,000 views exactly three years ago. In the present, there are 15,000 subscribers, and there are 2.1 million views. This is undoubtedly a huge outcome, but when your efforts start to show at least some fruit, you start to feel more energised, highly driven, and inclined to work even harder.

My entire team is behind me in this effort, and I'm thrilled that they have stuck by me and had faith in me during the tough times. I want to especially thank my friend Azamat Azizov and Makhfirat Arzieva for creating engaging scripts for our videos. Gratitude to my brother Alisher Ostanov and nephew Jakhongir Tursunov for taking such beautiful photos.

🙌🏻Dear friends Please help us out by offering suggestions and reviews of our videos.(youtube.com/docatours). This year, we make a commitment to you to produce videos on more intriguing subjects and to raise the standard with each new episode. May this year be fruitful, prosperous, and hopeful for all of us.
