⚠️ Hey all, quick update ⚠️
Happybara is gonna be going on a bit of a hiatus. It's not an easy decision, but I believe it's the right one for a few reasons.
1.) The videos take an INCREDIBLY long time to make, and unfortunately, YouTube is set up to value quantity over quality in nearly 100% of scenarios. At this point, sustainable growth isn't feasible with the way things are.
2.) It's not financially stable at this time. I have a team working with me assist me in creating all the art for Happybara. Unfortunately with everything being SOOOO expensive these days, I can no longer afford to pay each of them what I believe they are worth. Add in the cost of all the stock footage and travelling to film and it's become a bonafied money sink.
3.) I'm tired. Like, REALLY tired. The burn-out is no joke. YouTube is a full-time job and I can't dedicate myself to two channels at the expense of my personal life and relationships. Especially if one is just gonna be a time/money sink for the foreseeable future.
So basically, I want to take time to re-evaluate how I want to approach Happybara. Animal science is my true love in this life, so I don't want to abandon it entirely, but I also need to be realistic with my expectations. I'll keep you all updated, but in the meantime, look forward to new content coming soon!
