Chapman Shum is a young pianist who was born blind, this is his channel to record his daily life and hopefully, he will be able to see it with his eyes in the future.
Chapman Shum is a 12-year-old happy boy from Hong Kong, born with a rare unknown disease that caused his eyes to never fully develop, and this also impacted his speech and learning abilities. However, Chapman wouldn't let disability define him - he has a pair of sharp ears and nimble fingers! At the age of 5, he taught himself to play "It's a Small World" on a toy piano after visiting Disneyland once. Fast forward to today, he is in high demand as a musical performer, he is a regular performer for the Westfield Shopping Centre, Amber Trust, Haw Par Music and many more. Recently Chapman successfully held his debut Piano Solo Recital at the Westminster Music Library.
