We are currently experiencing an imminent termination of our account due to copyright strikes, which we believe to be incorrect. We regret that because of this our videos are currently unavailable. We hope this is temporary. The irony is we’d just reached over 10K subscribers! Thank you all for that regardless of this situation.

Obviously this is upsetting for you and for ourselves. The 3 strikes concerned happened in quick succession, after having no strikes previously we’re confused as to why now.

We are looking into appealing this and are trying to figure out what we need to do next, but it has taken us by surprise. If anyone has experience on this and can advise, refer or support us, please get in touch.

We post experiences from a unique viewpoint and with a level of quality that we’re commended for in the comments made on our videos. People started enjoying what we do so we uploaded more. The intention has only ever been to help promote the artists we genuinely love, help the fans who cannot be there and share our perspective, which is not copied and cannot be replicated by anybody else on any other occasion.
We want our channel to stay up for everybody, not just ourselves. The amount of comments we’ve had from people who are on the other side of the planet or unable to attend for personal reasons has made sharing worthwhile. It’s meant the world to us.

The videos we post are our sound and visual recordings and our understanding is that the artists make money through copyright licensing deals with YouTube. We do not insert music, claim that we are the artist or steal footage or music tracks from any source. Full credit is given in the titles of the videos to the artists in every case.

This all grew from a personal archive, to something completely unexpected. This past year we actually found ourselves talking about it as a resource that could help others, with it becoming apparent it is being shared and enjoyed worldwide. We never even considered when uploading our first video that we’d be running a ‘channel,’ especially one that so many would end up appreciating.

We genuinely do not know what the future holds for the channel but we thank you all again for the journey so far.

❤️ John and Rob

A final plea, if you have had experience of this please do get in touch!

Hey everyone,

Just letting you know we're having a few issues with some videos on the channel. For the moment we've chosen to mute some which we think may pose an issue. Unfortunately, we've had 2 strikes in the past week so we don't want to risk another one and be shut down.

Really not sure what to do on this, if anyone knows please feel free to get in touch on our instagram.

If we do get the third strike, may we take this opportunity to thank all you all for watching our videos and subscribing. Honestly, it all began as a way of preserving videos for ourselves and never expected it to gain watchers, let alone subscribers so thank you! We are on instagram so if we do go offline, follow us there!

New @MelanieC videos up on our channel from her 50th Birthday Party gig, including the formative performance form All Spice when @officialemmabunton Nicole and Natalie Appleton joined Mel for the @spicegirls 2 Become 1 and Who Do You Think You Are.

Great night, thanks Melanie C for celebrating your birthday in this way!
