Pique-nique Recordings is developing a robust, diverse, and unique community of artists specializing in jazz and improvised music in New York City.
Founded in 2016, we provide a platform for emerging NYC musicians to showcase their talent through events, recording sessions, vinyl production, distribution, and radio play.
We are humbled by the history of jazz and improvised music in New York City and we hope to contribute to this vast community of boundary-breaking musicians by supporting emerging artists and presenting their work both locally and internationally.
Oh, and we also run Take Two and Unheard, two deep-listening event series established in Brooklyn.
