Hey folks, just finished reacting to 3 tracks. I will edit these and post one tomorrow. Apologies for not reacting over the last few days, i've had a bugger of an abdominal pain, and my friends convinced me to visit an out of hours doctors clinic tonight but i'm sure it's nothing to worry about, just uncomfortable. Hey y'all, so, temporary pause on reactions until Saturday. I've just had my ears de-waxed and it's been recommended I refrain from wearing headphones or ear buds for a couple of days. I must say, my ears feel extremely sensitive right now and I was amazed when they told me that my one ear was completely blocked. So, I will be back on Saturday, and amongst the reactions I have lined up will be... oh and also, if you have any preference for artist/band let me know because I probably won't get around to all of them, but I do like to have a pool of music to pick from xxxx

Hey folks, best laid plans of doing some reactions has been undone somewhat. Apart from working the entire weekend I've been looking after a friend who is really ill at the moment. GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! Okay. So, I was going to use a swear word, but stopped short. I got blocked again on Hall & Oates. I reacted to Family Man, the official video. I even said in the video that I would probably get blocked, so I shouldn't really be surprised. But I'm still surprised that the company that manage the video don't want to promote their music. My channel is NOT monetised by You Tube, all proceeds of my video through advertisements would go to the management of the video, not me. Love Hall & Oates, hate this bollox though, makes zero sense as i'm not directly making any money from it.

Looking forward to a few more reactions tomorrow. Annoying but not unexpectedly I had a few reactions blocked last week, hence the gaps in reactions. There are some types of content that raises the stakes when it comes to blocks, so official videos and live performances. I've been fairly lucky recently that i've managed to avoid really popular heavily managed videos but sometimes a few come along at once. Good thing nowadays is that when i'm uploading a video I will be notified of any copyright, partial blocks (usually certain countries) and total blocks. A few years ago, the only way to find out if a reaction was blocked was to actually complete the upload process and then there was always a chance that not only might the video be blocked but you also might have gotten a strike on your channel. That's not to say that down the line I could incur 3 strikes retrospectively, and then my channel is removed by YT. Reaction videos to copyrighted material is always a big gamble.
So, yup, in a nutshell it's no bad thing that a bunch of my videos got blocked. Just means I get to do a whole lot more next week.

Hi, welcome to my channel.
I began this channel in 2020. Thinking this was going to be merely an outlet for music i'd already heard, the assumption being that there wasn't anything new for me to hear, I quickly discovered in a nano second, how wrong I actually was. This channel has been so enjoyable. I've listened to music of all genres spanning 70 years plus, and I've had so many fantastic suggestions for music from artists that I hadn't ever previously heard off. It's been mind blowing. And none of this could have been possible without my wonderful subscribers. So a massive thank you to all of you who support the channel with your fantastic input on my uploads.
