๐ From Dreams to Reality: My Journey to MNIT Jaipur
Today marks a significant milestone in my life as I graduate from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. Standing here with my degree in hand, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the journey that has brought me to this point.
Growing up in Asilai, a small village 45 km from Azamgarh, my brother and I faced numerous challenges. Cycling 12 km every day to school at the age of 9, moving to Azamgarh city at 13, and living in an 8 x 10 feet room - these experiences shaped our resilience and determination. Life was not easy, but our grandfather's inspiring words and our unwavering commitment to our dreams kept us going.
The road to MNIT Jaipur was paved with hard work and perseverance. After completing my 12th from a government school, I joined ALLEN in Kota to prepare for JEE Mains. My first attempt didn't go as planned, but I didn't give up. With my family's support and the guidance of my Maths faculty at Allen, I decided to take a second attempt. This decision was fueled by the belief that success was within reach for middle-class students like me.
The journey wasn't without its hurdles. From scoring high in internal tests to facing the challenge of maintaining consistent motivation, I learned valuable lessons about dedication and focus. Despite some setbacks, I ultimately secured a place at MNIT Jaipur, a testament to the power of perseverance and hard work.
As I reflect on my college life, I am grateful for the friendships I made, the experiences I gained, and the support system that stood by me through thick and thin. These years have been transformative, shaping me into the person I am today.
To everyone who has been part of this journey - my family, friends, teachers, and mentors - thank you for believing in me and supporting me every step of the way. This achievement is as much yours as it is mine.
Here's to new beginnings and the exciting journey ahead! ๐

I scored 320/360 marks in the Allen JEE Main Test ๐คฉ
Hey everyone, I'm Deepak Shukla, a recent civil engineering graduate from MNIT Jaipur. Originally from a small town in Azamgarh, UP, my journey to engineering wasn't a straight line.
After completing my 12th from a government school, I joined ALLEN in 2017 to prepare for JEE Mains. While I worked hard, I felt my foundation from 11th and 12th wasn't as strong as it could have been. The result reflected that โ I scored 76, just clearing the then cut-off of 74 ๐ช.
While I considered other options, my Maths faculty at Allen offered some valuable advice: "Focus on your plan later, but JEE Mains won't come around again. Consider a second attempt." With my family's support, I decided to give it another shot.
This time, the stakes felt higher. Success would be an inspiration for middle-class students like myself, proving that a double drop year could be the key. My motivation soared as I consistently scored above 300 in Allen's internal tests, even being awarded three silver medals and getting featured on their posters!
NIT Allahabad's Mechanical Engineering department was my target, and that's where things took a turn. After diligently covering over 70% of the syllabus for 7-8 months, I fell into the trap of complacency. Thinking I'd cracked the JEE Mains exam, I eased off on studying andโฆ well, let's just say movies became a daily habit. The result? While I landed in MNIT Jaipur, it was for Civil Engineering, not Mechanical.
Looking back, I realize I set a high bar and the reality wasn't far off. Overall, I'm happy with my decision to take the double drop and incredibly grateful to my Maths Guru and ALLEN for their guidance.
This is my story โ a journey with its share of doubts, hard work, and a touch of overconfidence. It's a reminder that the path to success isn't always linear, and even detours can lead to a fulfilling destination.
