Hey guys. I am thinking of bringing back Portfolio Reviews, where you guys send in your portfolios and me and a guest together give reviews on those portfolios. I use to do them a lot a few years back, thinking of bringing them back. Do you think I should?

When most of us think of Spain, our minds instantly go to Barcelona, Madrid, or maybe the beaches of Málaga. And yes, those cities are incredible, but Spain is so much more than its famous destinations.

This year, thanks to the wonderful invitation from the Tourism Office of Spain in India, I got the chance to explore one of Spain’s hidden gems, León. And honestly, I was blown away.

León has such a fascinating story. What started centuries ago as a Roman camp has grown into a city that beautifully balances history and modernity. After an almost 24-hour journey from Jaipur, I finally arrived, collapsed into bed, and woke up at 9 PM—only to find the sun still out! That golden evening light pulled me outside, and it felt like stepping into a painting.
Walking through León felt like walking between two worlds. On one side, the old city with its winding narrow streets, pedestrian-only lanes, cobbled walkways, and awe-inspiring churches. On the other side, the new city, open and modern, with wide avenues, green spaces, and striking architecture like the MUSAC (Contemporary Art Museum). That dialogue between the old and the new was truly unforgettable.

Over the next five days, I explored León and its surroundings—visiting nearby towns and even a tiny village where every family makes wine in their own cave (yes, caves!). That’s a whole story in itself, and I can’t wait to share it with you.
This trip left me with so many memories, so much inspiration, and A LOT of content. I’ll be turning it into reels and posts very soon. Consider this an official announcement: Spain content is coming your way!
