After an eternity of owning it we finally got Root to the table at board game night! Now the learning game is over , keen to try again. Need to quash that pesky woodland alliance!

Well the Fate of the Fellowship definitely didn’t go like the books on our first go at Board Game Club last night, with all the Nazgûl’s ending up in the shire right away. Maybe we’ll have better luck next time!

We’ve been enjoying trying some Saashi & Saashi games recently. Here’s ‘Let’s Make a Bus Route’, a little roll and write where you want to pick up and drop off passengers efficiently, while not crossing each other!

Had fun at our weekly board game club last night playing El Grande and Yubibo among other games!
Yubibo is a quirky party game that's a bit like cooperative twister, placing sticks inbetween the fingers and hands of the people specified on the cards, trying not to drop them. El Grande is a classic area control game that we'd never played before but is simple to learn, very swingy with some enjoyable mechanisms and plays great at 5! Look what we found in Japan!
Super excited to find this in a second hand store! Nokosu dice is a set collecting came with a dice drafting element added in. It’s one we’ve heard lots about, but have never been able to find. Looking forward to trying it out when we get back !

Dare we say it? We're at 900 subs, we'll soon be on the double digit countdown for the elusive 1k (in before we lose a follower now).

This evenings video is gonna be a remake, as we've been busy trying to get together videos for when we're away in Japan for the second half of May. Hopefully it's an improvement on the old one from a year ago! We like to think we've got a little better... there's less thumbs up at least xD Let us know what you think!

We finally got around to playing Disney Villainous!
Jafar gave King John a beating before Captain Hook sneaked a win against Ursula.
Villainous if a very accessible asymmetric, card-driven board game, where each player is racing to achieve their villain’s individual set of objectives before their opponent, while hindering other players progress by placing infamous Disney Heroes onto their boards.
You’ll move your Villain to iconic locations from their universe to take the actions depicted; gaining power (currency) to play cards, vanquishing heroes played onto your board and placing them on your opponents to get in their way!
There’s an abundance of expansions containing different Villains to try and play… we’ll definitely need to give it a few goes to work out the best way to play with and against the ones we have!
