Step back into 1980โ€™s Brooklyn with this rare photo of The Filthy Mad Dogs (FMD) โ€” a Park Slope street gang that started as the Floor Master Dancers before becoming an outlaw street gang. They rolled deep in Park Slope, eventually transforming into a motorcycle club that hosted the legendary Classic NY Street Gangs Reunions (2007โ€“2012) at their defunct Red Hook clubhouse.
These historic reunions brought together legends like Yellow Benji (Ghetto Brothers) RIP, D.S.R. (Savage Nomads), & La Madrina Lori (Savage Skulls FORMER 1st Lady) under one roof.

๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ RIP to Gil, Blinkie, Baretta, Rico, Flip, Charlie O, & all fallen brothers and sisters.

Step back into 1974 Bronx history with this rare photo of the Ministers Bronx, a White Bronx street gang whose name was inspired by a 1962 baseball team.
Before the graffiti-style acrylic jackets of the 1980s, the classic 1960s & 1970s New York street gangsโ€”including the Ministers Bronx, Reapers Bronx, and Black Spadesโ€”hand-painted their colors.
The Ministers Bronx were made up of White Bronx youths of Italian, Irish, German, and other European ancestry. They even appeared on an ABC News segment in 1973.
This is another exclusive moment from the King Klast Archives, preserving the untold street gang history of the Bronx.

In the heart of Spanish Harlem, Manhattan, N.Y. during the 1970โ€™s, the Renigades of Harlem (sometimes spelled Renegades) made history.
What began as a street gang turned into a movementโ€”rehabilitating abandoned buildings, making homes livable again, and uplifting their neighborhood. The jacket in this photo carried the symbol of a hand and hammer, representing work, strength, and community power.
They were even featured in a 1975 Geraldo Rivera news segment and covered in local newspapers for their groundbreaking efforts. Today, we salute the Renigades of Harlem and honor the memory of those who are no longer here.

The Majestics out of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, N.Y. were more than just a gang โ€“ they were a movement.
Starting as a dance club rocking sweaters, they evolved into an outlaw gang and eventually a motorcycle club, even expanding to the Dominican Republic. Their Supreme President โ€œFBIโ€ (RIP), born in the DR, symbolized the unity between ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ด Dominicans & ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ท Puerto Ricans in Brooklyn at the time.
This piece honors FBI, Froggy, Alex, Big Dog, & ex-member ChocoLoco. ๐Ÿ™ Rest in peace.
From the 1950โ€™s through the 1980โ€™s, Brooklyn was a hub for street gang culture, and the Majestics left their mark in history.

โš ๏ธ Context: Symbols like the swastika were adopted by NY gangs in the late 60โ€™s influenced by biker cultureโ€”not for hate or racism, but for rebellion, shock, and fear.
โœŠ๐Ÿฝ Share this history with respect. Help keep the legacy alive.
