For quite a while YT channel tevebits shows interesting facts about the actual broadcast all across Europe.
During the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on May 13th 2023 some stations broadcast commercial breaks, while others didn't. Here's a look at how a few stations in Europe handled the two of the opt-outs.
Poor Italian speaking Swiss, they watched news and ads while everyone was watching "The Liverpool Songbook". A lot of people missed Hatari giving Iceland's points, a highlight of the voting sequence.

Last time the ESC was held in Switzerland was back in 1989. Yugoslavia won it, but the winning group was soon forgotten. Even in the year after when Zagreb hosted the event, the band Riva was not in the show. Some great names appeared in Lausanne such as Nino de Angelo, Fausto Leali, Tommy Nilsson and Birthe Kjær.
You can re-watch the show as usual in various commentary languages here:

Definitely one of the best Eurovision entries ever. Maybe the best one. In every other year she would have won again. Abba, however, were unbeatable back in 1974. watch video on watch page

260 comments until today. ALL of them very positive.
It really seems the very first Turkish entry was one of the best songs in ESC history.
Underrated and a true pearl that is really worth diving back to 1975 and releasing it from the shell.
The German participant Joy Flemming was sitting together with Seminha Yanki in the greenroom and they shivered together, because the voting seemed to end up in a very bad way for both of them.
