I’m powerless against these cookies! A jammy Fig and Walnut center, sandwiched between 2 buttery cookies. I fell in love with something similar while in Florence this summer and couldn’t get them out of my mind! I’ve been spending the last 3 weeks developing a recipe that felt a bit like chasing a ghost! But seven batches later, I’ve got it! The recipe post on my channel this Saturday! Stay tuned!!

These are six of the most delicious things I ate this summer that I can’t stop dreaming about! Which one would you like me to re-create in an upcoming recipe video? 1.) this was the most insane baked truffle gnocchi that we had in Florence. 2.) a Swedish cinnamon bun at the Swedish bakery in Florence. 3.) A highly addictive, fig and walnut cookie sandwiched between two buttery sable cookies. 4.) Tuscan Pici pasta with a spicy Ragu. 5.) A delicious simmered shrimp in a flavorful tomato sauce with warm feta from Greece. 6.) A shrimp and scallop kebab with beurre blanc sauce, rice and spring vegetables that I had here in France.
