Here's a recipe for Gosht Bhindi (Mutton and Okra Curry):
Ingredients:
- 1 kg mutton pieces
- 250 gm okra (bhindi), cut into small pieces
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons mustard oil
- 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Chopped cilantro, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add cumin seeds, onions, garlic, and ginger. Saute until onions are golden brown.
3. Add mutton pieces and saute for 5 minutes.
4. Add coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Mix well.
5. Add okra and saute for 5 minutes.
6. Add salt, yogurt, and lemon juice. Mix well.
7. Add 1 cup water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until mutton is tender.
8. Garnish with cilantro and serve with rice or roti.
Note: You can adjust the amount of spices according to your taste preferences. Also, you can add tomatoes or tomato puree for extra flavor.

- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons mustard oil
- 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Chopped cilantro, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker over medium heat.
2. Add cumin seeds, onions, garlic, and ginger. Saute until onions are golden brown.
3. Add mutton pieces and saute for 5 minutes.
4. Add coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Mix well.
5. Add potatoes, salt, yogurt, and lemon juice. Mix well.
6. Add 1 cup water and close the lid. Cook for 20-25 minutes or until mutton is tender.
7. Garnish with cilantro and serve with rice or roti.
Note: You can adjust the amount of spices according to your taste preferences. Also, you can cook the curry in a pan on low heat for 1-2 hours instead of using a pressure cooker.
