As of today though it feels like I can continue doing what I'm doing depending on what type of video I think the song needs. Practically speaking, if I don't have enough credits on the tools I'm using I sometimes don't have a choice and need to use what I have until my credits renew LOL

With October being one of the busiest months that I ever recall not even being able to post my normally first of the month post for the month on 11/1...yikes! I'm going to keep November simple, and just focus on making and sharing videos of all the great songs I have that I hope you will like too!
🎵 250th MILESTONE REMAKE: Hollowed Light
I love this music journey so want to almost 'create' milestones for myself to celebrate. I loved remaking 'Rise Again' last month when I hit 200 so thought I'd plan for every 50th video going back into my catalog to find songs I loved but didn't get the video I think they deserved since I didn't have the tools I have now back then. So for 250, I've decided to 'remaster' the song (I added new background vocals, subtle cellos, guitar and drum parts), and a new video with lip-syncing. I hope you like it as much as I do!

🎵 MY FIRST HOLIDAY SONG! FOR HALLOWEEN: SHADOWS COME TO PLAY
This song came about because I thought if inspired for a holiday I would release a song for it. So with my favorite holiday coming up I made a song for Halloween called "Shadows Come to Play" which is a funk rock romp through a New Orleans style street with a wicked but handsome looking fellow dancing and singing through the pumpkin and skeleton lined streets! A couple times I've had songs that I've liked but do not 'fit' the normal styles I post AT ALL so I made 'From the Vault'. It's a page on my website where I'll share 'unlisted' unreleased songs not on my YouTube channel so they can live 'somewhere' if anyone wants to listen to them. October is my 19th anniversary of when I first signed up on YouTube. I was tossing around having a livestream to 'chat' if anyone would like to stop by. 🎵 ALBUM Full Length and Remastered Songs - Coming in October *UPDATED 10/3
I made playlists of 'song styles' on my channel already, but I thought it would be an interesting idea to go through my catalog and arrange 12 songs into an 'album' format. This groups my songs in a different way like a 'discography' to make one cohesive 'album' that anyone can listen too, together. Also I'm going through all the songs and 'Remastering' them as new or extended versions on the album. I'll make an 'album' video where all 12 songs can be listened to back to back like an album is that all have a cohesive thread. I'll post the links here to each album I create and they will also be available on my main 'channel' page each having a unique album name that encompasses the 'message' of the songs as a whole.

🎵 200th MUSIC VIDEO / REIMAGINED FIRST VIDEO
On August 27th, I posted my 200th music video which I was very excited about. To celebrate, I had the idea of taking my very first song, 'Rise Again', and giving it a refresh (new intro) and remaking the video with tools I didn't have in the beginning. As an every hundred milestone, I think I'm going to do that and choose an early song to refresh the song and remake the video for it! So looking forward to the 300th video, and on my new schedule that I'll explain next, I should be at my 300th sometime in April - May 2026!

🎵 YES, ANOTHER SHARING SCHEDULE! LOL
I keep researching advice on posting schedules because the last thing I want to do is 'overwhelm' listeners and oversaturate with continuing sometimes 7 videos a week! So I came up with this new schedule that will give me more time to make my videos since they are much more complex and do take more time and care to complete my ideas for them and edit them as perfectly as I can! This also gives more time for my songs on the YouTube algorithm more 'room to breathe' so to speak, yet feel frequent enough for me because when I'm excited about my song / video I want to share it with everyone asap! So I'm going to try this schedule in September and see how it goes!

✨ 9/6 SCHEDULE UPDATE: Feedback from a quick poll I just took shows me that basically I have the freedom to post however many I have when they are done and it doesn't seem like I'm overwhelming anyone so thank you ALL who participated in the poll so far! Keep letting me know you thoughts in the poll or comments! So I think what this schedule above will do is be a 'baseline' for me. Meaning I will never post less then 3 full videos a week.If I'm scheduled so far out like 2 or 3 weeks, for example, I will definitely not want to be 'that' far ahead so I will post full videos also on the 'short' days like a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday too if I have them done. 🎵 HAVING MULTIPLE SONG VERSIONS - BLOG POST
There are times when I have multiple versions of a song but I need to pick and finalize just one. This recently happened with 'Venom In Velvet' where I had 4 versions of the song! Once I chose the one to finalize for the video, I didn't want the other 3 to not see the light of day, so decided to write a blog post about it with other examples of when this has happened and what I did to share them. If this ever happens again I'll continue to post on my website so they have a place to live and be listened too!

Hello everyone!

🎵 HELLO, NEW SUBSCRIBERS IN JULY!!!
With many new subscribers this last month, 1100, I wanted to welcome you to my channel and I hope you stick around for new and what you may have already noticed a mixed bag of musical styles of videos I post coming up!
🎵 NEW CHANNEL TRAILER / NOT AI SPAM! LOL!
July was my vacation month and I thought I'd have more time to post more music videos but when I heard about YouTube changing policies on videos that use AI I changed course a bit. I saw 'AI spam' phrase being thrown around and now more then ever I thought it was important to work on my channel trailer I had been planning that shares a brief overview of how I make my music and music videos and that they are not just click a button and upload type videos. I would call it building / making songs and videos that take time and care!

🎵 NEW INTO THE ETHER LOGO AND ANIMATION
I thought it was time to come up with a logo for Into The Ether. The iiSwanSongii logo I've used at the end of my videos is my channel profile name which I decided to still use as my 'handle' or 'stagename' for a lack of another way to put it on here. I thought it would be good to create a logo for the 'band' or 'music project' name, Into The Ether, to use with my title. So I've been using the symbol animation on my title screens on all my videos from then on.
To explain the design a little, the emblem depicts an eclipsed sun at its peak in the center to represent cycles, evolution, and a reminder there is always light after darkness. There is always light that surrounds the dark if you look for it. Around the eclipse the lines radiating around it symbolizing signal, frequency where music from the ether is found. The rays direction pointing N, S, E, W are having balance or even a holy compass in every direction and in all things. The Eclipse Emblem stands at the heart of Into The Ether — a symbol inspired by the moment the world holds its breath in total eclipse. This design represents the balance between light and shadow, struggle and strength.

I was so surprised July 27th, when I woke up to the message that I qualified for YouTube Partner Program! Thank you all for watching and subscribing to my channel making this possible! This is all new so I'm fascinated by the process and will share every step if you are interested. Here are some of the details on the program I've enabled on my channel now.

Another YouTube monetization feature I've qualified for is to offer merchandise / products specific to my channel or videos to display on my video pages. A few weeks ago, I setup a Spreadshop account and uploaded my new Into The Ether emblem and ordered a few samples to review quality and I was pleasantly surprised!

So right now the products are syncing, but should be done in 24 to 48 hours and will display underneath all my video pages. Right now I've created shirts and hoodies to start. ✨UPDATE 8/3: The items are now available and linked on my YouTube page and video pages!
The shirts / hoodies have my 'official' logo for Into The Ether. I designed it where the ITE symbol, when you wear it covers your heart, and for me is where when I hear a song I love I put my hand to my heart which is where the symbol is located...I thought that was special and wanted to share that thought behind it.
Eventually, I may also setup a 'spri.ng' (formerly teespring) account because they allow for digital downloads. This means instead of putting my music on spotify or other music apps, I'll be able to offer digital downloads of mp3s of my songs if anyone likes them and wants and mp3 of it. I'm still deciding though if this is a good idea or not so I'll share what I decide. Again, the funds would go towards what it costs for tools, any new software and also the maintenance of my website. I'll update everyone on what I decide in my next monthly post.
🎵 FANBASE NAME IDEAS - ETHERIANS (eh-THEER-ree-anns)
Okay, let me start by saying, if you find fanbase names or this in anyway cringe let me know LOL. It doesn't have to stick, I just found it fun to think about and explore the idea...that's all. 🤗 There are some other YouTubers out there who come up with a name for fanbases. I thought it was a fun idea, so I've come up with a name and backstory / lore that may not go over or be used beyond this monthly post but I'll share it here to get your thoughts!

I found a new tool in July that allows me to get clips from the footage I have to make the characters in the clip lip-sync to the lyrics. I definitely think it adds something to my videos so I will be using that more from now on!

✨ 8/13 UPDATE - I'm really reworking a lot of this months songs so you'll see songs above completely change genres. They just don't feel right yet so that is my priority right now. One I abandoned a few months ago 'Vice', I'm working on again because I really like the style but I'm unsure about the lyrics. Thank you all for hanging in there! I'll post updates as I have them.

🎵 SUNDAY SHORTS
When I post a new full music video, I post a short clip of the chorus on my Instagram and Facebook to notify people there I've posted a new music video. I like to keep YouTube though for my full videos, but I decided to also post my short clips (shorts) on YouTube so thought for any videos I posted from the week before I'd have a 'photo dump' of sorts and have my 'Sunday Shorts' release early morning of what I've made. It seems like people are finding my channel through shorts so I'm glad people are hearing a clip they may like to then look for the full video! Thank you if that is you!
🎵 SAME 'LOVE AND POST' SCHEDULE FOR JULY
i think the same schedule for June will be carried through into July. When I love and happy with my song and music video, I'll share it with everyone right away! It's vacation month for me (a weeks vacation!), so there may be some days I don't get to post anything, but more time off may mean more videos so I'm hoping to post more next week which is my vacation week!
🎵 LONG TIME AGO IN CHESTER BENNINGTONS VOICE
I had a special request to create with AI a version of 'Long Time Ago' but with Chester Bennington from Linkin Parks voice. I thought that was interesting so I tried it out! I didn't have a program that could do it but I found one to use. It's not perfect, and you'll hear that if you check it out but it's close I think! Some words also AI had trouble converting but overall it was a fun experiment to give a try! I can't say I'll do that again or not but I was curious too so thank you to the commenter who suggested it! Not sharing your name because I'm not sure if you'd want me to or not? 🎵 MORE HARD ROCK / BLUES GRUNGE
I've said this in past posts, I never want my music videos to be just one genre, since i love all kinds of rock and acoustic music (and also techno / dance). I want Into The Ether to be well rounded. However, I noticed so far that 'Long Time Ago' and 'I Walk Alone (The Hollow Road)' are both my most viewed music videos (and video most subscribed through) that are more hard rock style. I love that music style too so because of that, I plan on making more videos in July of that style however I do have some songs in the queue that I'm excited about! More on that next!

---NEW SCHEDULE---
For June, after reviewing the past few months, and trying only 'daily' 1 a day videos in May, I've decided now to go back to what I did in April and post my music videos as soon as they are finished. Every song and video I create, I love and I'm excited to share with everyone so having to wait sometimes a week like I did in May now in hindsight seems silly. So I'm going back to when I make a song and a video and love the final result I will post right away. That essentially will mean maybe 1 a day during the week (I have a day job XD ) but then during the weekend, I have more time to focus and work on them so that may mean 2 or 3 on a Friday and Saturday.

For anyone who has been watching since February, you see that I post 'all kinds' of styles. I only create songs in the styles of music I love. So this weekend for example, I created a couple alternative songs, electronic synth rock, industrial goth, Symphonic Metal, Symphonic Black Metal and Blues Rock. So this got me to thinking I'd like to post a poll question this month about song styles. Hello everyone! I wanted to make a quick post to thank everyone who has subscribed to my channel! I appreciate you stopping by and watching / listening to the music & videos I'm making. <3 I've had a random schedule for posting, usually once a day or on a weekend more. So my goal moving forward is to post a full music video once daily scheduling it to launch at noon EST. Also, you can probably tell I never stick to one genre. I am a 'music' fan so I love all different styles of music so my channel will have that variety as well. Also I'm loving finding 'fusion' styles that go together too. Currently, i'm working on more music and videos that I'll continue to schedule into this month of May!
