We'll be LIVE this Wednesday, 1/24/24 at 5:30p Pacific. We're going to be reflecting on 2 decades as homesteaders - what worked, what didn't, things we wish we'd have done differently, etc. Be sure to stop in, join the chat and bring your questions!

Here's what to expect over the next couple of months on the channel:
* An update video is coming soon (most likely later this weekend or early next week).
* Canning how to videos - meatballs, applesauce, TBD
* The return of Mailbag Monday (I've had quite a few questions emailed in lately. If you have any others just email them to SRHomestead@yahoo.com)
* Review videos - manure spreader, Presto Precise canner, manual pump milker, Survival Seed packs, LEM grinder, dehydrator, worm tower, etc).
* Shorts. We're going to be dropping one or two each week. Just brief little vids of daily life.
We have a list of other topics and will do our best as we work around the snow and cold weather. If you have other things you want to see, send them over!

It's been a busy (and stressful) year so far. We are planning to get back to making youtube videos soon and wanted your input!
What topics would you like to see us make videos on? Also, who would be interested if we went back to weekly or biweekly livestreams?

The snow melted and the warm weather is here finally. We're shooting a video this weekend on all that's happened in the last 2 months. You probably won't believe how much has been done.

Talking our way through the possibility of some classes this year. IF I can talk a friend into coming and doing a class on Herbs and uses, would anyone be interested? Probably 3 or 4 hours?

Hopefully everyone is staying warm! We're digging out from days of snow falling. We may get a quick break to get the snowblower out again before the next round of snow coming in.

We're an off-grid homestead in south central Oregon pushing to live a sustainable life. We currently raise heritage livestock and poultry and build most things ourselves.
