We firmly believe that to achieve the universal goal of health equity, sound public health information must be available for all. We also deem it critical that aspiring and current public health students, job seekers and young professionals develop an increased awareness of the field. We believe that role models and mentors are not necessarily the few people who are at the executive or senior management levels of an organization but more importantly, those who are on the front lines working hard, creating impact, and inspiring change every day. By bringing them into focus and highlighting their stories, we will benefit the larger public health community.
