Hello everyone,
You may have noticed that I’ve recently started uploading shorts to my channel. These snippets are taken from past videos I’ve created over the years. For years I have refrained from posting shorts because I believed they could negatively impact viewership of long-form videos, potentially reducing attention spans and undermining the potential for fully edited video productions—a format I’m extremely passionate about. I still believe this to be true to a degree, but I guess you could say I’ve slowly had a bit of a change of heart.
It's very obvious YouTube has integrated shorts into its platform to compete with other social media companies, and I’ve come to realize that ignoring this aspect of YouTube would be missing out. My goal is to use these shorts to grow the whip-making community as a whole. While I still prefer long-form content, I’ve decided to give shorts a chance, recognizing that they can introduce new viewers to my channel.
Rest assured, there won’t be any decrease in my regular full-length tutorials. I currently have four tutorials in progress, and they’ll continue to be released as usual. Nothing is changing, except for the fact that you’ll see occasional snippets from familiar videos here and there.

:UPDATE ON THE NEXT TUTORIAL:
This upcoming tutorial is proving to be by far the most challenging and time consuming whipmaking video project I have ever created. But... progress is being made! I'm currently working through the final stages of the 18 plait handle, and will then be moving on to filming the building of the 16 plait thong, which I am thinking will be faster to work through/film than the handle. I've been editing footage after every day of shooting, so as to not have the full 6-8 hours of clips to deal with all at once after everything has been shot. If all goes as planned, the release date should be around the first week of August. I'm really excited about this one, guys. I will keep you updated!
Edit: I will be giving away one of the prototype Whipmaker's Cord stockwhips as well. Instructions to enter will be mentioned in the intro to the video.
