I was thinking about life today- we are made of 5 elements- earth, water, fire, air, and space.
The life that we eat (plant or animal) gets broken down in our body through fire and gets converted to a refined fuel in the form of protein, carbs and fat which is used by every 'cell' in your body to burn and produce electricity (through ions) which then travels in your body through iron and other minerals such as sodium potassium magnesium which are a good conductors of electricity. The electricity in our body is what we call life, no electricity- your heart will stop pumping. Every part, every organ in your body consumes this electricity to function and we sleep at night to hibernate. Sleep is the time when your body consumes minimum amount of electricity and this time the function of the cell is to regenerate. Our body is an intelligent electric machine (like other machines made by human beings)which requires electricity to be alive. Fuel=energy=electricity=life.
The 7 chakras in the human system are transformers which are responsible to capture this electrical energy floating in the human system and transform it for growth, both physical and spiritual. Meditation helps us in cleaning the transformers so that they function at the fullest and allow our consciousness to expand.. the goal of human life is to expand this consciousness which is not possible without a body.. without body there is no fuel-no electricity- no energy- it's like a sleep state and the soul remains dormant.
We are born so that we can be alive to use this intelligent machine to expand the consciousness.. this is the goal of a human life.
