AVL ZalaZONE is a brand-new, 250-hectar vehicle proving ground in the west of Hungary, specifically designed for the development and validation of dynamic and autonomous functionalities, electric vehicles, and durability tests. Besides passenger vehicles, the entire track is available for heavy duty vehicles such as trucks and buses without size and weight limitations. Within the framework of the AVL ZalaZONE automotive proving ground project, there are 13 track modules available for dynamic, autonomous, and electric vehicle tests, providing an outstanding opportunity for surrounding European and non-European development organizations. Besides test track services, AVL ZalaZONE offers complete test solutions with engineering services, technical equipment, workshops with technicians and a fuel station, offices for test‑staff, ADAS test equipment, HD mapping and test drivers.
