When someone asks me -
"What makes Elden Ring so good?"
To me, it's how customizable the difficulty is. There is no wrong way to play, just a matter of perspective and what the player is looking for.
The bosses do have an unbelievably hard moveset, but FromSoft has given us the player more tools than ever before.
When playing you can CLEARLY see when you are strong and overleveled. Obviously the mimic tear is a massive advantage. And that is OK!
If you as the player want the game to be harder, you have everything at your disposal to do that. Limit your build, restrict your upgrades, no-hit the boss.
The game does not need a difficulty menu, as making it easier entirely possible through a stronger build. Don't gatekeep others, enjoy the masterpiece for what it is 😁
