Sharing some of my best captures of Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan ATLAS as it graces our skies one last time. This incredible comet reached a brightness of -1 magnitude in mid-October, shining even through bright city lights. Now it has reached almost +7 magnitude it's bittersweet to say goodbye to such an awe-inspiring visitor, knowing it won’t return in our lifetime.
Bye-Bye 👋🥹 Tsuchinshan ATLAS, thanks for the memories and the magic you left behind!

RIP C/2024 S1 ATLAS...
Comet C/2024 S1 ATLAS has fallen into the sun. Look in the lower right corner of this SOHO LASCO-2 chronograph image.
Not to be confused with Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS, Comet ATLAS was a Kreutz sungrazer, a family of comets that are fragments from the breakup of a single giant comet ~1000 years ago. SOHO has discovered thousands of them, almost all disintegrating near the sun.

Still can't control the urge to capture Comet Tsuchinshan ATLAS...
Comet's magnitude is now greater than +6(beyond naked eye visibility), but it is still an easy target for Telescopes and binoculars. I captured this image today through my 10x40 binoculars from the light and air-polluted skies of Jaipur city, and the tail was even visible in RAW shots!
