Tonight is Yud Shvat - the night that the Rebbe, My Rebbe, became the leader of the Chabad Movement.
The Rebbe woke up something inside of me at age 15 - a roiling, broiling, rolling, bursting, exploding, all consuming, inextinguishable, unquenchable, indestructible, unceasing, inescapable desire to BE JEWISH, to LEARN TORAH, to discover Truth, to attach myself to G-d and to shake the world until they understood.
The countless nights in my office where itâs just me and the Rebbe - as I learn his holy words - are the lifeblood of my existence.
âHow lucky are You, Oh Israel!â Thank you Rebbe again and again and again and again for choosing me and Itamar, my parents, my family, to be your Chassidim. It is the honor and privilege of our lives.
We wonât stop until Moshiach comes.

I used to think holiness looked like praying, giving charity, learning Torah.
As Iâve grown, Iâve come to see that holiness can also look like body acceptance, self respect, self awareness and emotional intelligence.
More than anything (for me), holiness can
look like eating ice cream and actually enjoying it.
Who knew holiness could be so human?
