The first day of fall, September 1st, is my birthday. My biggest wish for this birthday is more help for the cats. In the last two months, I have taken in my care 15 cats and kittens who needed help. Everything that I do for cats is in my free time. This is the cause I am volunteering for.

We would like to thank everyone who donated for Pixie’s birthday wishes! ❤️ Pixie is very grateful for your gifts! She received a bigger cat tree suitable for her condition, a smaller cat tree, we bought food for the strays, cat treats, spayed and neutered some feral cats, bought medicines for the cats in need a covered a part of the veterinary bill. One of the kittens has Flat Chest Syndrome… Flat-chested kitten syndrome (FCKS) is a disorder in cats wherein kittens develop a compression of the thorax (chest/ribcage). This is the first time I have a kitten like this. Have you ever met a kitten like this and if yes do you have any advice? For now he gets steroids. He just finished the treatment with antibiotics for the umbilical infection.

Update about the kittens - unfortunately another little one lost the battle with the infection and passed away… 😢 I can’t believe this is happening, this is so heartbreaking… ❤️🩹The other 3 are eating but 2 of them seem to be a little weak. I can only hope they will start responding at the treatment and get healthy . Please keep them in your thoughts. 😔
