Here is a very interesting photo featuring Kelso Horne of the 508th PIR of the 82nd Airborne in Normandy. The interesting point of this photo is the trooper is wearing a late war helmet net which was very common in the 82nd Airborne in Normandy but he has weaved scrim into the net. A very rare occurrence in the 82nd but it can be found on a few troopers. Full video about the 82nd Airborne helmet nets can be found on my channel:

HELP NEEDED!!! Just got back from another amazing jump school with the WWII Airborne Demonstration Team.
Then, only days after the team left jump school, a tornado touched down in Fredrick, OK. Thank you Lord that no members of our team were hurt. Another miracle, both our WWII aircraft are amazingly unharmed.
However, our hanger did suffer some serious damage. We have many devoted team members that have returned to Fredrick and are in the midst of cleaning up the debris so we can begin to repair the damage. Despite the damage The Parachute School is still on schedule for our annual July and October jump school.
I implore you to consider giving a donation to the team as well as share this fundraiser with your friends and family. Your support will directly contribute to our teams mission to Remember, Honor, and Serve our WWII veterans.
God bless you and God bless the WWII Airborne Demonstration Team.
