Hey folks, here's a general update. First, I'll be out of town for a week & will be at Thrown Controllers Colosseum this weekend. I haven't written about it here but this has been my first month with successful use of CPAP & I've been spending the time that I've been awake taking care of a LOT of things I didn't have time to take care of over the last year. Expect content to rev up this year.
In the meantime, I'm gonna post the current draft of the new Persona 3 Port Review for Members & Patrons. It's only up to Portable so far. There has been a bit to correct and add & the entire voiceover of the intro, Vanilla, and FES was re-recorded. I've been carefully combing through this one & getting consistent feedback to avoid mistakes from last years video. I think we should get Persona 3-5 done this year as well. Unsure about Paper Mario right now but I'd like to do that. Smaller content would be great to weave in between everything if I can manage it as well.

Star Ocean Second Story R received an update with new content and features. Here are patch notes and Square's trailer for the update in this post.
- Chaos Difficulty was added
- The Ten Wise Men are now post-game raid bosses
- Upon defeating them, you’ll earn new equipment, weapon customization material that's used with super weapons, and that boss as an Assault Action.
--- The boss fights' forced debuffs, equipment buffs, and assault action abilities are unique and some are pretty wild
- Minor characters have been given dialogue portraits. Alongside that, a Character Graphics Collection was added that lets you see every character's portrait and expressions
- When starting NG+, you’ll now be given an option to reset character levels as well as leveled arts, spells, and skills (excluding ones from items & events)
- The Ending Collection now lets you actually re-play the character endings
- The title screen (subtly) changes upon beating the game
- Added more Oracle hints
- "Adjusted Ally symbologist AI" alongside misc. bug fixes
Heads up! The Pixel Remasters on Steam have received an update for the console versions features! I dunno if they're in 100% parity but by the patch notes it's looking very close. The video below has the details on what's changed. You can also visit the patch notes pages for each game on Steam
Caught COVID and haven't been able to work, but just throwing out a timeline for the rest of the year while I lay in bed. After this FF corrections video (maybe by the end of the month? Maybe?) We've got: Star Ocean Second Story, Baten Kaitos I & II, Suikoden I & II
And if there's time, I'll get another Persona in this year
Posting since i mentioned it in the Port Review, the version review for BN3-6 is just about done but it'll be a couple days before it goes up. To preface it, in it's current state, a bulk of the video is a showcase/demonstration of the various exclusive navis & forms between the games & not just the typical review/comparison I do; it's a companion piece to the main port review basically
