Holy cow man. I hardly have the words... I’ve loved both the previous movies. Not just because I’m a lifelong fan of the games; if I thought they were ass I wouldn’t have seen each of them a minimum of three times in the theater. I genuinely have a lot of love for this series and it’s made me so happy to see how its helped my favorite characters and series soar over the past four years. But this one is really. REALLY. Something special. The living, beating heart of this movie is what keeps it going. Yes, the action is amazing and made me go feral as a big Dragon Ball fan. Yes, the movie is actually really damn funny at times (guacamole and telenovelas. That’s all I’m gonna say). But it’s the emotion. Those moments when characters sit, talk, and connect, that really makes the movie. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. My dreams were reality, right in front of me on the screen, dude. Talk about full circle.
Go see this movie, please. Please do. You won’t regret it.

One of my new favorite moviegoing memories is watching Transformers One in theaters with a full audience of kids, teens, and adults, and hearing them all roar and cheer with excitement upon hearing the words “Arise, Optimus Prime.” Losing their minds at the official arrival of one of fiction’s greatest heroes. No matter what age anyone was, all I saw in that theater that day was a bunch of children having the time of their lives. And this movie made that happen.
I just wish more people were experiencing that joy together. :(
